Introduction 
 The training module is made for hotel which 
comes under the hospitality sector. The core 
idea behind the training module is to make 
the employees well acquainted with the 
organization’s structure and the workings 
step by step.

Training is the acquisition of Knowledge, skills, 
and competencies as a result of the teaching 
of vocational or practical skills and knowledge that relate 
to specific useful competencies. Training has specific 
goals of improving one's capability, 
capacity, productivity and performance

team members and bring up their knowledge on the 
company and the best way to help the business create a 
report with its customers and make more money.
Lemon tree Hotels 
 This award winning Indian hotel chain was founded in September 2002 and 
currently owns and operates 21 hotels in 14 cities aggregating 2600 rooms with 
over 3000 employees 
 Lemon Tree Hotels was founded by Mr. Patu Keshwani in 2002. The first 
Lemon Tree Hotel opened in Gurgaon in June 2004. It is in UdyogVihar 
with 49 rooms 
 Lemon Tree Hotels Private Limited (LTHPL) is the parent company which 
owns the Lemon Tree Hotels brand 
 Headquartered in New Delhi

House Keeping 
Day 1: Learning the Hotel Layout 
 Each hotel housekeeper will need to become familiar with 
the layout of the hotel. 
 This includes learning where the kitchen and laundry areas 
are, as well as the layout of the rooms. 
 A tour of the hotel will be given to each employee. 
Day 2:Conduct and Dress Code 
 Hotel housekeepers will need to learn the appropriate ways 
to interact with the guests, as well as be familiar with the 
hotel to answer any questions a guest may have. 
 A uniform is usually provided to a housekeeper; however, if 
one is not, she will need to learn the expected dress code.
House Keeping 
Day 3: Cleaning Techniques 
 Training will be provided to help each housekeeper learn about 
handling hazardous materials. 
 Staff will be instructed on what needs to be cleaned with 
different chemicals and how items should be handled and wiped 
down. 
Day4: Lost and Found Procedures 
 It include information on what to do if a lost item is recovered in a 
guest’s room or if a guest leaves any personal items behind. 
 Hotels has a lost and found area where the items will be stored 
until a guest recovers them. 
 Housekeeping staff should adhere to the lost and found policies 
and never attempt to return the item directly unless otherwise 
instructed.
House Keeping 
Day 5: Inventory Training 
Housekeeper will need to keep an accurate 
count of the inventory she is using on a daily 
or weekly basis. 
Staff will be trained on how much inventory 
they will need for each room and what to do 
in the event inventory is damaged, lost or 
stolen.
Human Resource 
 Human Resource management has evolved extensively 
over the past years. Human resource is considered to be 
the most important asset now days .There was a time 
when unskilled people could easily solve the purpose of 
hiring . But since the changing times the expectations bar 
has raised and now the organizations now prefer hiring 
the skilled laborers but not to forget who have that skill, 
attitude, and the capability to do the work not only 
effectively but also efficiently.
Day 1: Documentation and Filing 
 Passport size photographs 
 Birth certificate -original 
 Address proof - photocopy 
 Mark sheets etc - photocopy 
 Copy of the joining letter- photocopy 
 These documents are required to be filed in the file given 
by the hotel. 
 The task will take only one day
Day 2:Induction Program 
 Familiarized with the Hotel 
 Meet and greet session 
 Duties and responsibilities of the new 
employee 
 Expectations 
 Success of the Hotel 
 Lunch
Day 3:Learn to operate Naukri.com and its 
Products 
 Training of the new employees through 
webinar 
 How to use the Portal 
 Relevance : 
To make the employees well versed with the 
product so as to use the portal for job 
postings
Day4: Job Postings 
 After training of naukri.com 
 Raining on Job postings – Fixed mailers 
 Find out the Right resume 
 Check the relevant and suitable profile 
 Cold Calling 
Note : a three day process under the 
guidance of the mentor
Day 5: Recruitment and interview process 
 Mock Interviews 
 Pre-recorded interviews 
 To attain perfection 
 Note: The process will take 3 days or more
Day6: Performance Appraisal 
 To make the recruiters understand the 
performance appraisal system in the 
organization and its importance

House Keeping Day 1: Learning the Hotel Layout  Each hotel housekeeper will need to become familiar with the layout of the hotel.  This includes learning where the kitchen and laundry areas are, as well as the layout of the rooms.  A tour of the hotel will be given to each employee. Day 2:Conduct and Dress Code  Hotel housekeepers will need to learn the appropriate ways to interact with the guests, as well as be familiar with the hotel to answer any questions a guest may have.  A uniform is usually provided to a housekeeper; however, if one is not, she will need to learn the expected dress code.

House Keeping Day 3: Cleaning Techniques  Training will be provided to help each housekeeper learn about handling hazardous materials.  Staff will be instructed on what needs to be cleaned with different chemicals and how items should be handled and wiped down. Day4: Lost and Found Procedures  It include information on what to do if a lost item is recovered in a guest’s room or if a guest leaves any personal items behind.  Hotels has a lost and found area where the items will be stored until a guest recovers them.  Housekeeping staff should adhere to the lost and found policies and never attempt to return the item directly unless otherwise instructed.
  • 15. House Keeping Day 5: Inventory Training Housekeeper will need to keep an accurate count of the inventory she is using on a daily or weekly basis. Staff will be trained on how much inventory they will need for each room and what to do in the event inventory is damaged, lost or stolen.

Human resource is considered to be the most important asset now days .There was a time when unskilled people could easily solve the purpose of hiring . But since the changing times the expectations bar has raised and now the organizations now prefer hiring the skilled laborers but not to forget who have that skill, attitude, and the capability to do the work not only effectively but also efficiently.
