approved. Rollout of vaccines is too slow.

17 I think they are going to use it to take away civil liberties just like they will with the people who
stormed the Capital building. I have no faith in the government protecting the public- I was just
at an auction Friday- almost no masks were being used.

19 Good when Trump in charge 1/10/2021 7:18 PM
20 What is the truth. 1/10/2021 7:10 PM
21 poor- they should have had a consistent message from the beginning @ masks/no masks, and
also should have given more consideration to economic and psychological impact of the
shutdowns.
1/10/2021 6:36 PM
22 fast tracking vaccines great, allowing states to determine what is best for them-great. Trump
dissing masks and making his base suspicious-poor.
1/10/2021 6:35 PM
23 Need more transparency, who is getting it, where they are getting it 1/10/2021 6:15 PM
24 Horribly!! 1/10/2021 6:13 PM
25 Covid deaths could have been greatly decreased with HCQ but it was all but banned without
scientific proof. Fauci is a fraud. I am a 35 year health care professional and believe me I have
read as many studies as I could find. The vaccines are also questionable. No time to test
adequately. Protection time unknown.
1/10/2021 5:54 PM
26 I don’t know enough medically to judge / it feels like we could do better as we are America- but
again I am not educated in pandemics.

34 considering the amount of made up or mis-information going around both inside and outside of

dont equate to the facts, not sure how anyone can do anything right in the current enviornment.

their own decisions.
1/10/2021 7:55 PM
17 Open things up 1/10/2021 7:43 PM
18 I think everyone went into panic mode and copied the other governments —— in mid August,
when the death toll reached 3000, I dug around and found 2/3 of those deaths, or 2000 cases
were older nursing home RESIDENTS. They’re already frail and compromised and prone to die
from “ordinary” infections like UTI’s, bronchial issues etc. The state of Indiana has almost 7
million people, I remember thinking, and we’ve shut down the state for 1000 deaths of non-
(nursing home) residents, of whom most of the mortalities had other contributing co-issues.
1/10/2021 6:36 PM
19 Dumb rules. Hundreds allowed in stores but restrictions put on small businesses 1/10/2021 6:15 PM
20 Unnecessarily decimated small business 1/10/2021 5:58 PM
21 For the same reasons as above. Our Governor and state could have been leaders. He is a
follower instead. I wrote him a lengthy note via his website contact email and received
absolutely no reply. Prophylactics would have made all the difference. His continuously rolling
shutdowns are crushing Indiana businesses and for what?? And without the legislature
involved.
1/10/2021 5:54 PM

6 Yes. Period. 1/11/2021 10:50 PM
7 No. If there was fraud I don't think it has to be major to change an election. How the issues are

46 I believe the way Trump has been treated since day one is the reason he lost 1/10/2021 6:44 PM
47 I believe there were some questionably things in a few states that need to be investigated so
that everyone can be insured that election security is taken very seriously and accusations of
fraud will get investigated. With that being said it I highly unlikely there was a enough fraud to
realistic affect the outcome of the presidential election. It takes on a couple hundred votes to
affect state level or local races so fraud accusations must be taken seriously.
1/10/2021 6:36 PM
48 I have questions that were not answered. I know that absentee ballots were fraudulently
entered for some people in Pennsylvania, I question if last minute registrations were vetted
completely. All of the news was so biased that I did not hear how some of this situations were
resolved. Also seeing people count votes wearing political gear-primarily democrat was
troublesome. It just brought ups questions. And I really think BIden was the bait and switch
candidate. The one most acceptable to most people. But I question if he will even be able to
stay in office 100 days. He appears to have dementia.
1/10/2021 6:35 PM
49 Hard telling these days 1/10/2021 6:23 PM

prove it so I don’t feel right to fight it.
1/10/2021 5:52 PM
58 Yes completely 1/10/2021 5:49 PM
59 Some questionable aspects, but not likely enough to alter the outcome 1/10/2021 5:41 PM
60 Every election has fraud, how much, who knows. But as long as States allow mail in voting,
fraud will be prevalent. When I was in the bar business, excise was in the bar, and I was in
charge. Head Officer asked me if I knew that every person was of age, said yes as I had
people at door checking ID's. He said had I seen every ID, of course I said no, he then looked
me in the eye and told me unless you see ID with picture, you really do not know if they are, I
said he was correct.

63 This is such a complex issue. There was fraud, rule bending, and who knows what. I don’t

66 I feel there was discrepancies. Needs to be uniform in all states 1/10/2021 5:30 PM
67 It was free, but I do not believe Joe Biden received 80 million legitimate votes. I am concerned
about the lack of transparency in the audit of the vote.
1/10/2021 5:30 PM
68 I do not think it was free and fair in some states. 1/10/2021 5:28 PM
69 Fraud, but did not change the outcome 1/10/2021 5:27 PM
70 Think there are some questions that need answered 1/10/2021 5:26 PM
71 Lack of transparency makes it impossible to know, which is almost worse than not being free
and fair - it causes mistrust across the board, whether justified or not.
1/10/2021 5:23 PM
72 Not sure. But mail in ballots and some states not checking ID. Makes one wonder 1/10/2021 5:22 PM
73 There was some fraud and lax practices 1/10/2021 5:21 PM
74 Yes, absolutely 1/10/2021 5:20 PM
75 No, but I don’t think the outcome would change 1/10/2021 5:15 PM
76 Certain states made changes that were unlawful and the Trump campaign was too incompetent
to question it BEFORE the election.
1/10/2021 5:14 PM
77 I think there was strategic fraud in the major Democrat cities in key States. Unsolicited
absentee ballots makes fraud quite easy
1/10/2021 5:12 PM
78 No! THERE SHOULD VOTER ID LAWS ASAP!!!!! 1/10/2021 5:11 PM
79 I think certain states overstepped their legal rules for accepting votes. 1/10/2021 5:11 PM
80 I think there were issues, but not necessarily major widespread fraud 1/10/2021 5:10 PM
81 I think there was definitely some sketchiness 1/10/2021 5:10 PM
82 The was fraud but not sure it would change the outcome 1/10/2021 5:10 PM
83 We need voter ID and absentee ballots, not wide spread mail in. 1/10/2021 5:08 PM
84 There was no “major” fraud but there was a lot of malarkey 1/10/2021 5:08 PM
85 Yes, completely. 1/10/2021 5:07 PM
86 Generally distrust the entire process 1/10/2021 5:07 PM
87 Yes 1/10/2021 5:06 PM
88 I believe there may have been fraud but don’t know if it would have changed the results- not
that it really matters. “Some” election fraud is enough to investigate.
1/10/2021 5:05 PM
89 Yes, definitely 1/10/2021 5:05 PM
90 There are most Likely some things in a few states that should be investigated but I don’t
believe it would’ve change the outcome
1/10/2021 5:04 PM

1/10/2021 6:36 PM
71 This was something that was going to happen I don’t get Trumps loyal base-so much of what
he has said makes me cringe. I do think his rallies were no help, but I also think the past 4
years of the Dems trying to get rid of him, the constant stream of trying to find anything to get
him out also contributed. I am really concerned about the Dems having the House and Senate-
we are going to be in big trouble if they implement so much of their socialist agenda. So I think
that fear is also driving some of those Trump loyalist. We watched all summer property being
destroyed, Indy was a dumpster fire . And very few people were held accountable. So it was a
natural progression that this group just took over-they may have had someone on the inside to
make it easier for them.

1 Sad that it takes all of this strife to get rank and file citizens interested in government and
leadership. Sometimes it takes a crisis to re-order priorities. Thanks for your interest.

2 I’m getting tired of party before country, only my side gets what they want and the blame
game. I couldn’t be more disappointed in a majority of the Republican law makers and after 35
years, I have unregistered as a Republican.

4 I always appreciate your knowledge, information and point of view! I would like to see a huge
decrease in Federal and state level politicizing of covid 19 and related issues.
1/13/2021 2:43 PM
5 We have lost our right to breathe freely without covering our faces. Our leaders blame us for
rising cases of a virus when evidence has proved masks don’t work. Only two Indiana
lawmakers show any interest in undoing our Governor’s unconstitutional mandates. Our US
Senators & US Reps don’t seriously understand the tyranny imposed at state & local levels &
don’t call for Governor Holcomb to rescind. The health departments have done nothing to
educate people to build up their own immune systems via vitamins & supplements. Our state
board of pharmacy publicly discouraged the use of HCQ as a prophylaxis or as an inexpensive
at home early treatment. No one in the press asks Dr. Box about ivermectin, another
inexpensive drug shown to be an effective prophylaxis and non hospital treatment. Get the
vaccine, but you still have to wear a mask. You’ve had Covid, you have immunity, but you still
have to wear a mask. It will not end. Also, our First Amendment rights are gone and our GOP
Senate & President Trump did nothing to stop the attack. President Biden & Democrat trifecta
will criminalize our right to assemble & peacefully protest our government. You have to be
crazy to think our government at any level is headed in the right direction. Mayor Hogsett is a
disgrace. He & Governor Holcomb have let our crown jewel of Indianapolis become a cesspool.
Indy roads are impossible to traverse without risking tire & suspension damage. Businesses
shuttered. No one working downtown. Businesses damaged from BLM riots. Record number of
homicides in 2020. Homeless roaming the Park Fletcher business park as CARES act money
is used to hide them away from downtown. Sorry, but there is little to be optimist about.

8 I think the US Congress needs to seriously study election integrity and encourage each state
to review how they will make sure their elections will maintain/improve integrity and not as
much time trying to impeach Trump, expel Republican lawmakers (who are many times
representing their constituents with raising concerns as they should have done when
certification was taking place) and breakup the monopoly that Big Tech has on censoring
political speech. People need to have a way to share their views that are already suppressed
by local news, national news, and other media publications because those media outlets have
already taken a side and blackball/shame/etc those who do not agree with their opinion (which
they treat as fact). The US Congress Specifically Dems) are doing more to divide the country
(along with Fb, Twitter, Amazon) and ruin people's lives/livelihoods for having an opposing view
or not using their platforms. It is all about power. Absolute power corrupts absolutely.
1/12/2021 12:25 PM
9 Government is too big and too powerful. Complete corruption 1/12/2021 10:49 AM
10 It just feels like we're stuck in an endless catch-22 with government officials on this. First it
was lockdowns, then it was mask mandates, then it's criticism for gathering with loved ones,
and the percentages still keep going up. There needs to be some sort of reality that these
things aren't working to whatever degree officials think they are rather than go by the thought
process of "imagine if we didn't have these measures." 15 days to flatten the curve shouldn't
take 10 months.

the Party over the past four years have driven me away from the Party, despite being a fiscal
conservative / social moderate who often agrees with their policy initiatives. Neither Party is
willing to truly address the number one issue facing our nation: the National Debt and the
annual Federal deficit which feeds it. (Ironically, the Federal Deficit has increased annually
over the past five years under Republican leadership, after having declined annually from 2011
through 2015 under Democratic leadership - before factoring in any COVID impacts.) A Federal
Debt of $27.7T and growing is simply untenable in the long-term.

46 At a local level, it cannot be stated enough how poorly of a job Mayor Joe has done. Even my

people into righteous jerks who refuse to consider any viewpoints that doing align with their

1/10/2021 11:47 PM
53 The concept of self ownership is way undervalued, it seems. Too many people try to run other
people's lives. That's something I like about the LP, we say that you can be as conservative or
as liberal as you'd like, but don't expect everyone to live like you. Self ownership, personal
responsibility, and free markets (which is NOT what we have) are the way to go.
1/10/2021 11:36 PM
54 The City County Council needs to get rid of Joe Hogsett, but none of them are doing better and

61 Overall I am not concerned about the virus because we will face whatever happens the way we
always have and do what needs to be done. We have lives to live and they don’t stop for a
virus, I think individuals deserve to be able to make decisions on how to handle their safety,
government should not do this for us. I think people are responsible for their own actions and
while trump may have inflamed tensions ultimately responsibility falls at the feet of those who
broke the law. Our country/state needs to get spending under control and deregulation needs to
happen in order to allow Americans to innovate and grow our economy. We should be focused
on making the Individual great again, that’s when we will truly make America great again. We
were founded on individual liberty and that’s why we became such a great nation, we won’t
return to that status without renewed focus on individual liberty and putting the restrictions on
government.

62 Biden is not fit to run this country. He family needs to be investigated. Biden is a documented
racist, why is the media ignoring this fact. The country is heading in a non moral direction.
Racism has no meaning it has become weaponized. People now blow it off. We Need to hiring

government should not be able to restrict free movement of its citizens for any extended period
of time. The epidemiologists are not God. Nor were they ever elected by us to run the country

113 Hogsett is too involved in public safety and not doing his job. 1/10/2021 6:08 PM
114 Something needs to be done about social media and their censuring of anything that doesn’t
go along with their agendas. It’s scary.
1/10/2021 6:07 PM
115 I’m terrified for our country and for our safety 1/10/2021 6:07 PM
116 Right track/wrong track questions are hard to gauge. Over the last year, no for the US - but
here now looking forward, I say yes. Q #10 - wish they were stronger.
1/10/2021 6:06 PM
117 Tough 2 years ahead until md-terms. By then the country will have seen enough of leftist
policies including the restrictions imposed by big tech on political speech and return control of
both houses of Congress. Restrictions on speech are dangerous and will likely foment more
violent forms of protest from the resulting frustration.
1/10/2021 6:05 PM
118 Common sense needs to rule in 2021! 1/10/2021 6:04 PM
119 To me, division and hate are the two biggest National problems. Fueled by both a brash
President and out of control social media.

121 We must get back to reality in our legislative bodies. Both parties are to blame. Best
legislation comes from the middle.

123 I would like to see my tax dollars and my government power both locally. I would like the
federal government to receive way less money and wield way less power. I like the police,
firemen, schools, etc around here and don’t mind paying. I believe most alphabet agencies
don’t really do much but waste taxpayer money.
1/10/2021 5:59 PM
124 No governor or mayor gets any joy imposing economy crushing restrictions. People who
castigate them and public health officials are fools. President Trump is an ignorant narcissist
and a psychopath. He should resign. Failing that the 25A or impeachment is appropriate.
1/10/2021 5:59 PM
125 Our political system is corrupt on both sides. Neither side truly cares for this country. Their
sole mission is to win at any cost and punish the other party. This country needs an Article V
to institute Congressional term limits.
1/10/2021 5:58 PM
126 Too much Govt in our lives. I worry with both executive and legislative branches in Democrat
control that some ridiculous uber-liberal left policies will be inacted. Creating more Government

Protection time unknown. 1/10/2021 5:54 PM 26 I don’t know enough medically to judge / it feels like we could do better as we are America- but again I am not educated in pandemics. 1/10/2021 5:52 PM 27 Fauci has got to step aside. They’re already frail and compromised and prone to die from “ordinary” infections like UTI’s, bronchial issues etc. The state of Indiana has almost 7 million people, I remember thinking, and we’ve shut down the state for 1000 deaths of non- (nursing home) residents, of whom most of the mortalities had other contributing co-issues. 1/10/2021 6:36 PM 19 Dumb rules. Our Governor and state could have been leaders. He is a follower instead. I wrote him a lengthy note via his website contact email and received absolutely no reply. • 39. The Indy Politics Informal Questionnaire 39 / 69 # OTHER (PLEASE SPECIFY) DATE 1 There were certainly instances of fraud but not enough to change the outcome. 1/13/2021 9:25 AM 2 Who really knows? 1/12/2021 6:10 PM 3 I believe there was fraud, major or widespread fraud I am not so sure about 1/12/2021 12:25 PM 4 There was some fraud. 1/12/2021 10:24 AM 5 No, but the cause wasn't "fraud." 1/12/2021 9:26 AM 6 Yes. Period. 1/11/2021 10:50 PM 7 No. If there was fraud I don't think it has to be major to change an election. How the issues are classified makes no difference. But if people involved with the election are questioning the results then investigations need to be a priority. 1/11/2021 7:32 PM 8 Yes 1/11/2021 6:51 PM 9 Mail in ballots seem questionable in some areas 1/11/2021 6:39 PM 10 There was fraud/irregularities, but not enough to change the outcome. 1/11/2021 5:00 PM 11 There was lots of voter suppression by Republicans. 1/11/2021 3:52 PM 12 No, but do not think there was major fraud, rather, states changing voting laws unconstitutionally, bypassing state legislature input. 1/11/2021 3:32 PM 13 No, but it won’t be investigated. 1/11/2021 2:44 PM 14 It feels like there was major fraud. Too many issues that seem to be swept under the rug. 1/11/2021 2:40 PM 15 I think there was extremely unfair practices on both sides. 1/11/2021 2:28 PM 16 Define "major fraud". I believe there was a LOT of fraud, but no idea if it was enough to tip the election. 1/11/2021 10:44 AM 17 No. I believe the D's took advantage of drastically relaxed laws/administrative changes and committed fraud. I call it the "Lake County Syndrome" 1/11/2021 10:06 AM 18 No 1/11/2021 9:28 AM 19 Don’t know, I know who I voted for. This election has not been properly investigated to determine if there has been sufficient corruption. 1/11/2021 8:27 AM 23 There was fraud - but it did not alter the outcome 1/11/2021 8:16 AM 24 Yes 1/11/2021 7:42 AM 25 No, but I wouldn't describe it as major fraud. 1/11/2021 7:11 AM 26 No, some irregularities 1/11/2021 6:42 AM 27 The election itself (ie tallying of votes) was mostly fair; however, the media coverage of conservatives continues to be completely unfair 1/11/2021 2:24 AM 28 Hasn't been for a long time, the media and CPD pretty much support the duopoly. There is a concerted effort against third parties 1/10/2021 11:36 PM 29 No, there were irregularities 1/10/2021 10:38 PM 30 I don’t agree with the mail in ballot change. 1/10/2021 10:33 PM 31 Absolutely not it was biased and major voter suppression Jo Jorgensen was on the ballot in all 50 states but was not allowed to debate 1/10/2021 10:26 PM 32 No. All candidates were not given equal treatment. 1/10/2021 9:53 PM
  • 40. The Indy Politics Informal Questionnaire 40 / 69 33 Not sure. I think there may have been some fraud or inappropriate voting 1/10/2021 9:41 PM 34 There were issues but probably no change in president 1/10/2021 8:43 PM 35 I think there’s evidence of fraud, but it enough to have swayed the election 1/10/2021 8:42 PM 36 May have been fraud but has not been fairly and objectively investigated 1/10/2021 8:35 PM 37 All US elections are bought and paid for through advertising dollars 1/10/2021 8:15 PM 38 Not enough equal coverage for 3rd party candidates 1/10/2021 8:10 PM 39 Look up Italy. 1/10/2021 7:55 PM 40 Not sure all states were free and fair. 1/10/2021 7:55 PM 41 Seems if it was clean and honest then everyone welcome the opportunity to prove it. Also judges refusing to hear evidence is not proof there was none. 1/10/2021 7:43 PM 42 Certain there was some fraud, but not sure enough to change outcome 1/10/2021 7:28 PM 43 Republican suppression 1/10/2021 7:19 PM 44 A lot of unknowns 1/10/2021 7:10 PM 45 Yes, entirely 1/10/2021 7:09 PM 46 I believe the way Trump has been treated since day one is the reason he lost 1/10/2021 6:44 PM 47 I believe there were some questionably things in a few states that need to be investigated so that everyone can be insured that election security is taken very seriously and accusations of fraud will get investigated. With that being said it I highly unlikely there was a enough fraud to realistic affect the outcome of the presidential election. It takes on a couple hundred votes to affect state level or local races so fraud accusations must be taken seriously. 1/10/2021 6:36 PM 48 I have questions that were not answered. I know that absentee ballots were fraudulently entered for some people in Pennsylvania, I question if last minute registrations were vetted completely. All of the news was so biased that I did not hear how some of this situations were resolved. Also seeing people count votes wearing political gear-primarily democrat was troublesome. It just brought ups questions. And I really think BIden was the bait and switch candidate. The one most acceptable to most people. But I question if he will even be able to stay in office 100 days. He appears to have dementia. 1/10/2021 6:35 PM 49 Hard telling these days 1/10/2021 6:23 PM 50 Absolutely not, there has been and continues to be major bipartisan effort to limit third party access to ballots, debates, and funding. 1/10/2021 6:16 PM 51 Unknown. It is an intentionally opaque process 1/10/2021 6:09 PM 52 Not sure, but it needs investigated so the next will be better. Do not like mail in voting. 1/10/2021 6:07 PM 53 As much as any of the manipulated elections are. 1/10/2021 6:04 PM 54 No I believe there are fraud I'm just not sure how much 1/10/2021 6:00 PM 55 Undecided. All media has agendas. Don't know what to believe. 1/10/2021 5:58 PM 56 Some hanky panky but not enough to change results 1/10/2021 5:55 PM 57 I believe there was fraud. I believe the decision was made before the votes were cast. I can’t prove it so I don’t feel right to fight it. 1/10/2021 5:52 PM 58 Yes completely 1/10/2021 5:49 PM 59 Some questionable aspects, but not likely enough to alter the outcome 1/10/2021 5:41 PM 60 Every election has fraud, how much, who knows. But as long as States allow mail in voting, fraud will be prevalent. When I was in the bar business, excise was in the bar, and I was in charge. Head Officer asked me if I knew that every person was of age, said yes as I had people at door checking ID's. He said had I seen every ID, of course I said no, he then looked me in the eye and told me unless you see ID with picture, you really do not know if they are, I said he was correct. 1/10/2021 5:39 PM

I do think his rallies were no help, but I also think the past 4 years of the Dems trying to get rid of him, the constant stream of trying to find anything to get him out also contributed. I am really concerned about the Dems having the House and Senate- we are going to be in big trouble if they implement so much of their socialist agenda. So I think that fear is also driving some of those Trump loyalist. We watched all summer property being destroyed, Indy was a dumpster fire . And very few people were held accountable. • 61. The Indy Politics Informal Questionnaire 61 / 69 # RESPONSES DATE 1 Sad that it takes all of this strife to get rank and file citizens interested in government and leadership. Sometimes it takes a crisis to re-order priorities. Thanks for your interest. 1/14/2021 9:13 PM 2 I’m getting tired of party before country, only my side gets what they want and the blame game. I couldn’t be more disappointed in a majority of the Republican law makers and after 35 years, I have unregistered as a Republican. 1/14/2021 6:58 PM 3 Concerned about white supremacy groups based in Indiana. 1/14/2021 5:38 AM 4 I always appreciate your knowledge, information and point of view! I would like to see a huge decrease in Federal and state level politicizing of covid 19 and related issues. 1/13/2021 2:43 PM 5 We have lost our right to breathe freely without covering our faces. Our leaders blame us for rising cases of a virus when evidence has proved masks don’t work. Only two Indiana lawmakers show any interest in undoing our Governor’s unconstitutional mandates. Our US Senators & US Reps don’t seriously understand the tyranny imposed at state & local levels & don’t call for Governor Holcomb to rescind. The health departments have done nothing to educate people to build up their own immune systems via vitamins & supplements. Our state board of pharmacy publicly discouraged the use of HCQ as a prophylaxis or as an inexpensive at home early treatment. No one in the press asks Dr. Box about ivermectin, another inexpensive drug shown to be an effective prophylaxis and non hospital treatment. Get the vaccine, but you still have to wear a mask. You’ve had Covid, you have immunity, but you still have to wear a mask. It will not end. Also, our First Amendment rights are gone and our GOP Senate & President Trump did nothing to stop the attack. President Biden & Democrat trifecta will criminalize our right to assemble & peacefully protest our government. You have to be crazy to think our government at any level is headed in the right direction. Mayor Hogsett is a disgrace. He & Governor Holcomb have let our crown jewel of Indianapolis become a cesspool. Indy roads are impossible to traverse without risking tire & suspension damage. Businesses shuttered. No one working downtown. Businesses damaged from BLM riots. Record number of homicides in 2020. Homeless roaming the Park Fletcher business park as CARES act money is used to hide them away from downtown. Sorry, but there is little to be optimist about. 1/12/2021 6:16 PM 6 Abdul is my hero 1/12/2021 4:26 PM 7 Low taxes. Individual freedom. 2nd Amendment rights. 1/12/2021 1:09 PM 8 I think the US Congress needs to seriously study election integrity and encourage each state to review how they will make sure their elections will maintain/improve integrity and not as much time trying to impeach Trump, expel Republican lawmakers (who are many times representing their constituents with raising concerns as they should have done when certification was taking place) and breakup the monopoly that Big Tech has on censoring political speech. People need to have a way to share their views that are already suppressed by local news, national news, and other media publications because those media outlets have already taken a side and blackball/shame/etc those who do not agree with their opinion (which they treat as fact). The US Congress Specifically Dems) are doing more to divide the country (along with Fb, Twitter, Amazon) and ruin people's lives/livelihoods for having an opposing view or not using their platforms. It is all about power. Absolute power corrupts absolutely. 1/12/2021 12:25 PM 9 Government is too big and too powerful. Complete corruption 1/12/2021 10:49 AM 10 It just feels like we're stuck in an endless catch-22 with government officials on this. First it was lockdowns, then it was mask mandates, then it's criticism for gathering with loved ones, and the percentages still keep going up. There needs to be some sort of reality that these things aren't working to whatever degree officials think they are rather than go by the thought process of "imagine if we didn't have these measures." 15 days to flatten the curve shouldn't take 10 months. 1/12/2021 9:26 AM 11 Indianapolis gun violence is out of control and the silence from Mayor & Governor are sickening. In addition, IMPD isnt solving enough of these violent crimes. You are failing at protecting us and for the ones who have lost someone are being torn apart and left alone in the fight. 1/12/2021 5:00 AM 12 Hogsett and the City County Council are ruining EVERYTHING that was done to make Indianapolis a great city for conventions and tourists. If Indianapolis goes down, the whole state will suffer. I hate seeing my city like this. 1/12/2021 12:54 AM

Neither Party is willing to truly address the number one issue facing our nation: the National Debt and the annual Federal deficit which feeds it. (Ironically, the Federal Deficit has increased annually over the past five years under Republican leadership, after having declined annually from 2011 through 2015 under Democratic leadership - before factoring in any COVID impacts.) A Federal Debt of $27.7T and growing is simply untenable in the long-term. 1/11/2021 9:38 AM 35 I moved few months back from Marion county. I think Mayor is doing poor job. Until they’re willing to calm down and do what is right we’re going to have this upheaval with our populace 1/11/2021 9:20 AM 38 Bring back civility and statesmanship! 1/11/2021 8:54 AM 39 Fire all the nazis that supported the traitor in the White House last week. 1/11/2021 8:54 AM 40 Todd Rokita and Mike Braun are examples of what's wrong with Indiana politics. Both are an embarrassment to our state. Todd Young's silence makes him responsible for Wednesday's Capitol debacle by refusing to denounce Trump and Pence. 1/11/2021 8:16 AM 41 I do believe we are moving to a dictatorship, one sided shows it. AMERICA is gone. 1/11/2021 7:57 AM 42 Frustrating when this newsletter gives links to articles that are subscription only (then I can’t read the story). Otherwise I love it. Thank you! 1/11/2021 7:43 AM 43 Jim Banks is reprehensible. 1/11/2021 7:37 AM 44 i pray that joe biden can restore peace 1/11/2021 7:17 AM 45 You didn't ask if I'm optimistic about the future of Indianapolis. The answer is no. 1/11/2021 6:59 AM 46 At a local level, it cannot be stated enough how poorly of a job Mayor Joe has done. Even my most democrat and liberal friends admit he is an outright failure that has caused unnecessary harm to Indianapolis businesses, sending customers to the suburbs, and crippling the downtown because of his decisions (or lack thereof in some cases) surrounding Covid-19 and the rioters. 1/11/2021 6:34 AM 47 Just terribly sad at our current situation.... 1/11/2021 6:32 AM 48 In Marion County elimination of Township government. Put taxes saved in schools and public safety. Keep Township schools 1/11/2021 6:24 AM 49 I know of many professional healthcare workers who will not get the vaccine. Too many unknown long term effects 1/11/2021 5:10 AM 50 No. 1/11/2021 4:16 AM 51 Please get Hogsett a job in the Biden admin so Vop or John Barth can rescue the city. Impeach Trump.NOW 1/10/2021 11:51 PM 52 I’m thoroughly disgusted by our two party system. The “us versus them” mentality has turned people into righteous jerks who refuse to consider any viewpoints that doing align with their own. And the media loves to fuel that separation. 1/10/2021 11:47 PM 53 The concept of self ownership is way undervalued, it seems. Too many people try to run other people's lives. That's something I like about the LP, we say that you can be as conservative or as liberal as you'd like, but don't expect everyone to live like you. Self ownership, personal responsibility, and free markets (which is NOT what we have) are the way to go. 1/10/2021 11:36 PM 54 The City County Council needs to get rid of Joe Hogsett, but none of them are doing better and are only serving their own interests, not the constituents interests, so as a city, we are F’d. I think Indians as a whole is doing fairly decent overall compared to other states. As far as nation, hang on for this roller coaster ride. 1/10/2021 11:06 PM 55 When do we get good presidential candidates? In 2016 and 2020 both were awful 1/10/2021 10:35 PM 56 Political office is a civic service, not a ticket to new found wealth. 1/10/2021 10:27 PM 57 There will be no positive change until the two party system is broken 1/10/2021 10:26 PM 58 Thinking the government is using COVID-19 to see how they can control the population. From what I see it’s working. 1/10/2021 10:21 PM 59 Worried about Biden and the people pulling his strings on the way to socialism. Sad that people think more government is the answer! 1/10/2021 10:14 PM 60 Biden should hire Hogsett to be Hunter’s life coach. Get him out of Indy 1/10/2021 9:53 PM
  • 64. The Indy Politics Informal Questionnaire 64 / 69 61 Overall I am not concerned about the virus because we will face whatever happens the way we always have and do what needs to be done. We have lives to live and they don’t stop for a virus, I think individuals deserve to be able to make decisions on how to handle their safety, government should not do this for us. I think people are responsible for their own actions and while trump may have inflamed tensions ultimately responsibility falls at the feet of those who broke the law. Our country/state needs to get spending under control and deregulation needs to happen in order to allow Americans to innovate and grow our economy. We should be focused on making the Individual great again, that’s when we will truly make America great again. We were founded on individual liberty and that’s why we became such a great nation, we won’t return to that status without renewed focus on individual liberty and putting the restrictions on government. 1/10/2021 9:53 PM 62 Biden is not fit to run this country. He family needs to be investigated. Biden is a documented racist, why is the media ignoring this fact. The country is heading in a non moral direction. Racism has no meaning it has become weaponized. People now blow it off. We Need to hiring more police. Need to become a state that recognizes victims of crime instead of the felons that committed the crimes. Oh that doesn’t get political votes yeah. 1/10/2021 9:52 PM 63 Very unhappy wit all political process that is not what I grew up with. At one time both parties had same goals but different ideas about how to accomplish ... now the left has gone beyond the American way and is a terrible danger to our future! 1/10/2021 9:52 PM 64 The problem with this survey is the assumption that one thing has more importance than another. Policy needs cohesion, and pork prevents good policy. 1/10/2021 9:44 PM 65 Indy is on its way to being Chicago and Detroit. 1/10/2021 9:43 PM 66 It would be nice to see a real attempt at unifying our nation. Not just as to political parties but across the board. 1/10/2021 9:41 PM 67 Politics at the national level has reached an all time low. My frustration with the print media is at an all time high. Often I think the purpose of the print media today is to add fuel to the fire with the purpose being of selling more newspapers. 1/10/2021 9:39 PM 68 Joe Hogsett’s lack of leadership has been evident. He’s bad. 1/10/2021 9:38 PM 69 Just that it is sad at the shape this country has bcome 1/10/2021 9:38 PM 70 I find it very hard to express that I am a fiscal conservative who loves our constitution. Without being belittled about a million social issues that usually I have no opinion on. I believe that everyone should have the ability to live there life without persecution. I just don't want to pay for it. 1/10/2021 9:36 PM 71 It all should be about we the people. All government officials should listen to there citizens 1/10/2021 9:25 PM 72 No 1/10/2021 9:22 PM 73 Hogsett and Holcomb should be charged with treason and executed by firing squads 1/10/2021 9:16 PM 74 Clear out the homeless squatters in the Quemetco field just east of the Countryside Subdivision. And take away their guns. They are shooting most every morning around 2:00 AM. 1/10/2021 9:08 PM 75 So...countdown to pot being de-scheduled? 1/10/2021 9:07 PM 76 A. This was longer than 5 minutes B. These survey questions are flawed in their construct. C. Highlight of the pandemic is the weekly presser and listening to our fantastic journalists, like you. Thank you! 1/10/2021 8:43 PM 77 I think Nancy Pelosi and her ilk are dangerous. 1/10/2021 8:42 PM 78 I’m not a conspiracy theorist, but any sane person can see there was voter fraud. I think legislative bodies need to be reigned in and have their authority restricted. 1/10/2021 8:26 PM 79 I think the Republican Party is circling the drain and I am optimistic about Justin Amash running for president. I think the LPIN has the worst candidate for Governor since before Rupert Bonham who was at least a nice guy and not much less qualified than Rainwater. Great survey! 1/10/2021 8:16 PM 80 I hate corrupt politicians telling me what to do and then they do all they want and get away with 1/10/2021 8:16 PM
  • 65. The Indy Politics Informal Questionnaire 65 / 69 it over and over again. Including breaking the law. 81 Everyone acting like this is the first election that was ever corrupt is a naive fool. We are all subjected to mind control via advertising and public relations spin every day. We The People are being played by They The Powerful. 1/10/2021 8:15 PM 82 No 1/10/2021 8:06 PM 83 The mask mandate has clearly not worked it’s time to end the mandates and open the state back open. 1/10/2021 8:05 PM 84 Nationally the next 2 years could be real bad from a conservative standpoint. But in 2 years the House and most likely Senate will go Republican bringing us back to gridlock which is not all bad 1/10/2021 8:02 PM 85 Indy City Council are corrupt and the news should be investigating the lack of transparency. Why are they buying properties? Why are the spending $65k for surveyors cars? $108k for bilingual services for signing up for healthcare? The whole thing is a racket. 1/10/2021 7:55 PM 86 Thanks for your reporting! 1/10/2021 7:53 PM 87 #19 is worded with bias. There ought to be an option for yes, absolutely, I believe the election was conducted fairly. 1/10/2021 7:50 PM 88 Dems and reps are the same Just a big club 1/10/2021 7:46 PM 89 I appreciate the work you do to provide insight into IN politics - the local media has been useless in this state 1/10/2021 7:46 PM 90 I have watched the election choices get worse, and the freedom and rights along with Accountability, abuse corruption and fraud since I started voting in 1988. I did not vote for Trump. But he has done more to send us in the right direction than anyone since I have been old enough to vote. I don`t like him as a person. But his governance for the most part I agree with. I am tired of seeing the politicians sell us up the river while getting rich doing it. Things been getting rapidly worse every year . These last 4 actually gave me some hope. Now, not so much. 1/10/2021 7:43 PM 91 Have a nice day. 1/10/2021 7:25 PM 92 There is no R party any longer. Trump took it over and with the lies he spouted polarized the country even more. I pray that we as a country can come back from this. 1/10/2021 7:19 PM 93 Legislature should pass mayoral recall procedures for cities. 1/10/2021 7:13 PM 94 Have all politians take a lie dector test and a drug trust. Cannot believe the media at all. 1/10/2021 7:10 PM 95 I'm concerned how the nation will recover from and move past, hopefully, Trumpian fascism. 1/10/2021 7:09 PM 96 Holcomb is the worst Governor of my lifetime. My wife and I are no longer Republicans because of him. He is incompetent, ill-equipped, poorly staffed, and a complete goof. 1/10/2021 7:08 PM 97 The Republic is in serious trouble! 1/10/2021 7:03 PM 98 Cut property taxes to hospitality industry 1/10/2021 6:54 PM 99 Keep up the interesting work 1/10/2021 6:50 PM 100 End mask mandate, open schools 1/10/2021 6:48 PM 101 Indianapolis needs to address its murder rate. 1/10/2021 6:38 PM 102 Donald Trump was horribly treated by the MSM and left, daily, for four years. Very unfair 1/10/2021 6:37 PM 103 No Governor (or Mayor) should be able to unilaterally close businesses or disrupt lives by closing schools, thus making it impossible for people to earn a living. Folks still have to pay for rent, food, utilities, child care, medicine, car payments, etc. Unless we’re in wartime, the government should not be able to restrict free movement of its citizens for any extended period of time. The epidemiologists are not God. Nor were they ever elected by us to run the country or Indiana. They are experts in infectious diseases, yes, but they are not experts in economics, education or psychology, which have great impact too. We are supposed to have rights and have a say. There will be dire economic and psychological fallout from these lockdowns and shut-outs. 1/10/2021 6:36 PM
  • 66. The Indy Politics Informal Questionnaire 66 / 69 104 Our country is at a cross roads. If the Democratic agenda is implemented fully our country is lost. I believe some of the people who are in congress have their main goal to destroy our country. And we have no protection from them. The future for all of us looks very bleak. 1/10/2021 6:35 PM 105 Going to be an interesting year! 1/10/2021 6:25 PM 106 As fewer and fewer citizens pay taxes, less and less will feel any responsibility to make the country a better place. Next is full socialism. We've turned a corner from which we will not recover. 1/10/2021 6:15 PM 107 Indiana politicians and police who are “standing by the president” and not The Constitution should resign from their office or position of authority over others. 1/10/2021 6:15 PM 108 I wish there were measures to recall or force the resignation of officials who supported Trump and the failed challenge of the Electoral Vote. Rokita, Braun, Baird, and the others need to go and be replaced with people who support the Constitution. 1/10/2021 6:15 PM 109 Todd Rokita’s tweets and comments were a disgrace and should disqualify him from being IN Attorney General! 1/10/2021 6:13 PM 110 I always try and be optimistic- especially now that Trump will no longer be President 1/10/2021 6:12 PM 111 As a Christian, I'm glad that God is in charge. 1/10/2021 6:10 PM 112 37M - Former Conservative and met you during my time working with the Indy Chamber - I still have many conservative values, but I can no longer be associated to that group of people. I am now a first time democrat voter and officially independent 1/10/2021 6:09 PM 113 Hogsett is too involved in public safety and not doing his job. 1/10/2021 6:08 PM 114 Something needs to be done about social media and their censuring of anything that doesn’t go along with their agendas. It’s scary. 1/10/2021 6:07 PM 115 I’m terrified for our country and for our safety 1/10/2021 6:07 PM 116 Right track/wrong track questions are hard to gauge. Over the last year, no for the US - but here now looking forward, I say yes. Q #10 - wish they were stronger. 1/10/2021 6:06 PM 117 Tough 2 years ahead until md-terms. By then the country will have seen enough of leftist policies including the restrictions imposed by big tech on political speech and return control of both houses of Congress. Restrictions on speech are dangerous and will likely foment more violent forms of protest from the resulting frustration. 1/10/2021 6:05 PM 118 Common sense needs to rule in 2021! 1/10/2021 6:04 PM 119 To me, division and hate are the two biggest National problems. Fueled by both a brash President and out of control social media. 1/10/2021 6:04 PM 120 No 1/10/2021 6:03 PM 121 We must get back to reality in our legislative bodies. Both parties are to blame. Best legislation comes from the middle. 1/10/2021 6:02 PM 122 Rob and Abdul should have a daily segment on wibc 1/10/2021 6:00 PM 123 I would like to see my tax dollars and my government power both locally. I would like the federal government to receive way less money and wield way less power. I like the police, firemen, schools, etc around here and don’t mind paying. I believe most alphabet agencies don’t really do much but waste taxpayer money. 1/10/2021 5:59 PM 124 No governor or mayor gets any joy imposing economy crushing restrictions. People who castigate them and public health officials are fools. President Trump is an ignorant narcissist and a psychopath. He should resign. Failing that the 25A or impeachment is appropriate. 1/10/2021 5:59 PM 125 Our political system is corrupt on both sides. Neither side truly cares for this country. Their sole mission is to win at any cost and punish the other party. This country needs an Article V to institute Congressional term limits. 1/10/2021 5:58 PM 126 Too much Govt in our lives. I worry with both executive and legislative branches in Democrat control that some ridiculous uber-liberal left policies will be inacted. Creating more Government 1/10/2021 5:55 PM
