About Location
 Hotel was made in 1981.
 That time it was not a hotel.
 Only a Dhaba.
 So that people & labours enjoy some tea & lunch.
 In 1988, it shifted towards left on the highway.
 Up till now, the hotel haven’t changed its location
History
 In 1981 , its owner is Taji Khokar .
 His control of this hotel was ended in 1988.
 Due to some political & financial problems.
 In 1988 , Ali Khokar took the charge of it.
 Today, He’s the owner of the hotel.

 An aspirational description of what

 Mission are the goals of an organisation. Which they
seek to achieve in long or short term.
 Dependent on the type of mission.
 Khokar’s mission is to be the best in their field.
 And also lead their competitive market.

 In 1981, there was no hotel on Islamabad Highway
 Their an idea was born.
 Regarding the location.
 They opened a Dhaba.
 Who’s prime objective was to give customers.
 Affordable food & Qualitative at once.
 This quality factor gave them a jump.
 A reason through which they are competing today.

 Maximum lowest price.
 Maintaining high standard.
 Giving leadership or competitive advantage
over all competitors.

Example :- Rolls Royce
Luxurious car of all time Interior that can’t be
compared
The strategy in which a competitor offer different
product/service then competition in the market.
This strategy is primarily based on :-
• Experience.
• Creativity.
• Conceptualization.
• Knowledge.
Differentiation
 Primarily focuses on Segment of the market &
whether this segment is profitable on not.
 It’s a combination of Cost-Leadership &
Differentiation.
Focus
 Khokar Hotel strategy is not a true Cost-leadership
strategy.
 Not a pure Differentiation strategy.
 Some what focus strategy.
 Focus on Cost.
 Same time focus on Differentiability regarding

 Competitors tries to stable himself.

 Maintaining its sales.
 Other competitors like Toblerone also focus on
stability strategy.

 Strategy in which the competitor only focus
on growth.
 Growth for example sales growth , profit
growth.
 Companies like Coca-Cola , Fritolay(LAYs) use
this strategy.

 Competitors try to renew their strategy.
 Due to failures of strategy in the past.
 Retrenchment means renewal for short term basis.
 Providing labours some facilities for manufacturing.
 Turnaround means renewal for long term basis.
 Like change of suppliers for raw material.

An act of creating an environment, to achieve
organisations goal.
They have 3
managers.
One for family hall.
One for chefs timing, passing & receiving orders.
One for Gent’s sitting.
These three managers manages all of the Khokar Hotel
Clients, Services, Resources , Finance & many other
functions.

 Khokar’s Hotel strategy is GROWTH.
 In interview, Ali Khokar told us that
“We want to open as much Hotels, Fast foods
as much as possible”.
Khokar Hotel Corporate Strategy
He/she has four functions.
Planning. Organising. Leading. Controlling.
This person is a manager. Regarding Management functions.
Person who oversees all the work so that organisation goals can be
accomplished.
4 Functions of a Manager
 Planning include Decision making , Strategy
formulation.
 For a manager its plans should always over lap with
his/her decision.
 Decision making is making figure out
alternatives(options/strategies).

This process is also called benchmarking.
