Idea No: 4558 Safety Check
Category: IoT Internet of Things
According to regular surveys conducted by NHTSA, it is found that
death toll has been rising due to 3 specific reasons:
•Haphazard Driving
•Drink-and-Drive crashes
•Sleep-related crashes
Also, in case of accidents coincidently happening in remote areas;
emergency facilities could not reach in time at the spot causing
uncertain death.
What is the challenge / opportunity?
Illustration- As-is
Safety Check, a mobile application/solution integrated across the
smart/digital ecosystem of driver's Smartphone, smart band, car’s
infotainment system and various other IoT devices that could
remotely sense & trigger actions along with continuous data logging
over cloud to provide remote assistance in time of emergency.
Estimated:
63% would welcome a fatigue warning solution in their vehicles
Vehicle crashes cost more than an estimated $37 billion annually
