This trive.me presentation is about our new technical approach of an IPS (Indoor Positioning System) optimized for car parks. This approach is necessary, because an IPS for car parks is very different from “normal” venues. An example is the challenge to handle different occupancy rates, different vehicles with different damping factors, enable pedestrian AND vehicle navigation and so on. In this presentation you will get an overview about the challenges in the area of smart parking, our new technical approach and a pilot project in Wolfsburg. With our technology we are enabled to set up new business models for the parking and automotive industry. 6. With parking 4.0 a mobile service will search, book and pay your parking lot.
The parking lot will be chosen regarding the customer requirements and vehicle specifics. It’s possible
to open the barrier automatically and an indoor navigation guides the user to the selected parking lot.
