3. How do they separate the power? The government is divided into three and each of the branches has equal power and works with each other. This process is called Checks and Balances.
4. Legislative Branch This branch is composed of two chambers the House of Representatives and the Senate. Made up of 435 members, who are representatives of the people of the United States also called a congressional district. The House of Representatives introduce bills From there the President has to give approval.
5. Executive Branch This branch is dedicated to the President of the United States and his/her cabinet. He has power to approve or veto laws after congress approves them. The President is elected by the electoral college.
