Symptoms
• Dying back of leaves from
tips and dying off of older
leaves.

4. Leek Plants Nitrogen and phosphorus
deficiencies
Symptoms
• Left: nitrogen deficient,
growth dwarfed and thin,
leaves pale green, tip die-
back. Right: phosphorus
deficient, growth dwarfed
and thin, leaves dull green,
tip die-back.

5. Leek Plants Calcium deficiency
Symptoms
• Growth dwarfed; leaves
chlorosis developing from
tips followed by die-back.
