At AWS re:Invent 2016, we’ve lined up over 450 breakout sessions in nearly 20 tracks focused on key areas you care about. Unlike previous years, when breakout sessions were available on a first come first serve basis, this year, you will be able to reserve a seat in breakout sessions ahead of time. This helps avoid missing your favorite sessions and removes the uncertainty in your planning.
In this webinar, we will do a live demonstration on how to reserve your seats and build your calendar in the session catalog, our online tool to view and learn about sessions. The session catalog will be live in late October and can be accessed by all re:Invent registrants by logging into your account from the re:Invent 2016 homepage. You can engage with our presenter and team members to have your questions answered and ready to go.

7. Reserved Seating Best Practices
1. All sessions will have a predetermined number of seats available and must
be reserved ahead of time.
2. Once a session is full an attendee can join a waitlist.
3. Waitlisted attendees will receive a seat in the order in which they were added
to the waitlist, and will be notified via email if and when a seat is reserved.
4. Only one session can be reserved for any given timeslot i.e. no double
booking a block on your calendar.
5. Don’t be late! The minute the session begins, if you have not badged in,
attendees waiting in line at the door may receive your seat.
6. Waitlisting will not be supported onsite and will be turned off 7-14 days prior.
