VMware Cloud on AWS allows customers to run VMware workloads on AWS infrastructure. It provides a VMware software-defined data center delivered as an AWS cloud service. Customers can use familiar VMware tools like vSphere, vSAN and NSX to migrate and extend their on-premises environments to AWS. This provides a hybrid cloud that addresses common challenges with hybrid IT adoption like inconsistent networks and tools.
