Every year the Perspektywy in Warsaw attracts up to
50 thousand visitors, upper secondary school
students and their parents, university students and

The fair is organised under the auspices of the
Minister of Education and the President of the 300,000
Conference of Rectors of Academic Schools in Students
Poland.

and colleges has increased from 400,000 to 2 million.
Poland is one of Europe’s youngest societies - half of the population is below the age
of 35 (47.6%).
Poland has the highest number of students in Europe:
500,000 Poles enrol in university annually.
Poland has a nationwide network of 456 centres of higher education. There are 138
state higher education academies including 18 universities and 17 universities of
technology and 318 private schools of tertiary education.
Majority of young Poles study English at primary and high school level; some opt to
learn a second foreign language like German, French or Spanish.
