The child abuse . Short essay

  1. 1. “The Child Abuse” Tens of thousands of children each year are traumatized by physical, sexual, and emotional abusers or by caregivers who neglect them, making child abuse as common as it is shocking. Child abuse affects many children around the world either from emotional abuse, physical abuse, sexual abuse, neglect and domestic violence. Even children seeing or witnessing abuse suffer conisiderable harm. Childeren have rights like anyone else and should be free from exploitation and abuse. Child abuse has many negative impacts on a child and we all should put a stop to it right now! Matt Blunt, Heather McClane and Kenny Guinn created quotes that express their point of veiw on child abuse and how we can stop being abusive to children. Child abuse is everybodies bussiness we have a responsibility to children to prevent abuse and neglect. The values of our state include that every child should have safety and should be free from abuse and neglect to ensure the well being of the younger generation. Matt Blunt shows us this through his quote. “Child abuse and neglect offend the basic values of our state. We have a responsibility to provide safe setting for at risk children” Matt Blunt also shows us that every child deserves a safe setting. Some where that they can feel safe with out suffering from abuse or an abusive situation. Heather McClane has also created a quote on her thoughts on child abuse. “The only reason why abuse is alive today is because we as adults fail our children when we fail to listen to them. Listen to a child today!” Heather shows us through this quote that the only reason child abuse exist is because we let it happen when we fail to report abuse or when we fail to intervene. Child abuse is evrybodys bussiness. Another great quote created by Kenny Guinn, “I believe the best service to the child is the service closest to the child, and the children who are victims of neglect, abuse, or abandonment must not also be victims of bureaucray. They deserve our devoted attention, not our divided attention. Through this quote kenny Guinn shows us that Children who are suffering from abuse should have organization that help them out. We should be there to help them out and they should have our attention. The best service we can do for an abused childis to do whats best for the child, not what is convenient for everyone else or easiest. Most of us can’t imagine what would make an adult use violence against a child, and the worse the behavior is, the more unimaginable it seems. But the incidence of parents and other caregivers consciously, even willfully, committing acts that harm the very children they’re supposed to be nurturing is a sad fact of human society that cuts across all lines of ethnicity and class. Whether the abuse is rooted in the perpetrator’s mental
