has completed StatoilHydro's safety introduction course for Mongstad and passed
the related test.
The course gives basic information about the installation and the most important
safety regulations there, together with requirements of all personnel.
All work in StatoilHydro is based on the "zero-philosophy" - zero accidents,
damage or loss of people, equipment or the environment. Safety has the highest
priority.
To keep the risk of unwanted incidents within an acceptable level, StatoilHydro
has used its experience and knowledge of the installation to install a number of
safety barriers: human, technical and organisational'
StatoilHydro's responsibility is to ensure that the necessary safety barriers are
established and used. Your responsibility is to use them, highlight any omissions
and suggest improvements.
Your understanding and respect for the installation and products, together with
your attitude and awareness are of vital importance to safety'
