MOTIVATION
Motivation is to inspire people to work,
individually or in groups in the ways such as
to produce best results. It is the will to act. It
is the willingness to exert high levels of
effort towards organizational goals,
conditioned by the efforts and ability to
satisfy some individual need.
Management
Management in business and human
organization activity is simply the act of
getting people together to accomplish desired
goals. Management comprises planning,
organizing, staffing, leading or directing, and
controlling, an organization a group of one or
more people or entities or effort for the
purpose of accomplishing a goal.
Motivation in management
Michael Porter and Henry Mintzberg are
convinced that motivation is only a secondary
link in the chain represented by management.
According to them, both motivation and
market evolution are evolving in a linked
relationship. This is called the Contingency
Theory.

  • 4. MOTIVATION Motivation is to inspire people to work, individually or in groups in the ways such as to produce best results. It is the will to act. It is the willingness to exert high levels of effort towards organizational goals, conditioned by the efforts and ability to satisfy some individual need.
