2013-2015: M.A in social work (MSW), Masters of social work, Addis Ababa University.
2007– 2009: B.A. Degree, in Sociology and Social Work, Jimma University.
2. Personal attributes:
 Ability to develop research methodologies, manage research projects and summarize
research findings in technical reports and working papers
 Ability to work with staff of researchers
 Experience in gathering, analyzing and presenting quantitative and qualitative data
 Knowledge and experience in establishing and maintaining effective monitoring and
evaluation systems
 Well-developed oral and written reporting skills

July 2011– November 2013 Youth participation and mobilization officer
Wolaita Zone Women's Children's and Youth affairs
 Managed Adult involvement in positive action regards their involvement to work in poverty
reduction, reducing stigma and other aspects of discrimination that challenges status quo
 Managed adult involvement in community organizations quality and effectiveness of
community groups
 Coordinated trainings on Personal Empowerment of adults (Individual Learning, knowledge
confidence and skill)
 Monitored and evaluated the benefit from adult’s demonstration of facilitation, teaching,
mentoring and providing feedback in efforts to facilitate community change.
 building networks and linkages with other stakeholders to combat HIV/AIDS, malaria and
other diseases
 Developed, delivered and coordinated a youth service for teenagers living with, or affected
by, HIV through educational trainings and workshops that took into account the emotional,
social, cognitive and physical needs.

 Monitored and evaluated to identify the gender perspectives of the sector area/issue,
through, for example, use of gender analysis, focusing on both issues of representation and
content.
 Organized and managed an association of 20 craftswomen in DamotWoyde, Wolaita zone.
 Coordinated capacity development training for female micro entrepreneur ,including courses
on Entrepreneurship
 Monitored and evaluated the community awareness on the cause and consequences of,
divorce, domestic violence.
 Assisted women training in courses such as women leadership, Women and power and
property use.
 Revised different training manuals, drafted projects and proposals for donor NGOs
 Developed a clear plan of action for gender mainstreaming, with objectives, activities and
expected outcomes, including indicators for measuring progress.
 Monitored plan of action in overall planning documents –medium - term plans, budgets
and performance evaluations.
 Implemented a system for regular and systematic follow - up and recording of results and
lessons learned which feeds back into regular planning and follow -up systems.
 Built stakeholders initiatives and developed ,decision-making abilities ,leadership by
providing opportunities for direct communications and negotiations with Woreda authorities
such as faith based organization and community based organizations
 Mainstream attention to other overall development goals such as poverty eradication,
sustainable development and governance and human rights, as well as cross- cutting issues
such as children, and capacity development, throughout all areas of societal development in
Zonal government offices and Non governmental organizations
