• Identify team name 
• Rounds for competition 
• You can’t ask any questions to the facilitator

Station 1: Fold in half 
Station 2: Write a message on the front – 
(Holiday Greeting) 
Station 3: Write inside: “From: Team Name” 
Station 4: Quality Check, consistency in steps, 
sign name on the back. 
5th person- time keeper and “supervisor”

•Teams make total 5 cards. 
•Each station must finish all 5 cards 
before delivering to the next 
station. 
•No team member can help 
another team member. You can 
only do your own job. 
•5th person has to report the total 
time.

  • 1. Card Making Game: Process, Estimation, Clear Communication 1
  • 2. Card Making Game 2 Purposes of this game: 1.Process estimation 2.Identifying problem areas 3.Delivering consistent, quality product 4.Importance of asking questions
  • 3. Card Making Game 3 • Groups of 5 • Identify team name • Rounds for competition • You can’t ask any questions to the facilitator
  • 4. Greeting Card Game 4 Station 1: Fold in half Station 2: Write a message on the front – (Holiday Greeting) Station 3: Write inside: “From: Team Name” Station 4: Quality Check, consistency in steps, sign name on the back. 5th person- time keeper and “supervisor”
  • 5. Greeting Card Game - 1 5 Station 1: Fold in half Station 2: Write a message on the front – (Holiday Greeting) Station 3: Write inside: “From: Team Name” Station 4: Quality Check, consistency in steps, sign name on the back. 5th person- time keeper and “supervisor” Round 1: •Teams make total 5 cards. •Each station must finish all 5 cards before delivering to the next station. •No team member can help another team member. You can only do your own job. •5th person has to report the total time.

  • 13. Debrief 13 1. How close was your deliverable to your estimate? 2. Did you over promise? How can you avoid over promising and underdelivering? 3. Where was your bottleneck? 4. When is the best time to communicate problems/lateness to the client? 5. How can you communicate lateness?
