Santander launches a collection of videos that
explain how F1 innovation benefits people
• Starting Wednesday, videos that highlight F1 innovation will be shown before most of
the F1 grand prix races yet to be run this season. Today, “An all-terrain wheelchair”
premieres.
Madrid, July 1 2015. Banco Santander announced today the launch of a collection of nine
videos that explain how innovation and technological change in Formula 1 is benefiting
people. On the Wednesday prior to most of the grand prix are yet to be raced this season,
the bank will release one video. The first, launched today, is “An all-terrain wheelchair”.
F1 is not just a motor sport. It is also synonymous with innovation and technological
development in areas such as logistics, mechanics, design, strategy, or team management.
The topics of the videos are safety, health and sustainability. Carbon fibre, KERS, the
processing of data by means of telemetry, aerodynamics, among other subjects, will be
presented through personal stories in which F1 innovation has played a role.
