It’s the most important part. Rick Warren talks about relationship. Relationships must have priority in your life above everything else.

Never tell your neighbor to wait until tomorrow if you can help them now.”

What do you need to cut out of your schedule to make that possible? 4. What sacrifices do you need to make.

- 1st Purpose of our lives is we were created for God2nd Purpose is we were formed for God’s family. What? : Different forms of love. Eros, Philia, Agape. Agape is the highest form of love. Agape love is the kind of love God wants us to achieve or to share. Means perfect, to sacrifice, unselfish love. God established that unselfish love is the greatest/ultimate achievement in life. Not our possessions, educational attainment, career. 1Corinthians 13:3b No matter what I say, what I believe, and what I do, Im bankrupt without love.2 John 1:6 Love means living the way of God commanded us to live. As you heard from the beginning his command is this: Live a live of love.For whom: 1 Peter 2:17b. Show special love to God’s people. God is particularly concerned that we learn to love others in his family. Galatians 6:10 When we have the opportunity to help anyone, we should do it. But we should give special attention to those who are in the family of believers
- Why: John 13:35. Your strong love for each other will prove to the world that you are my disciples. It shows the world that the God we are serving is really a God of love. We can give glory to him. This could also be our way of encouraging non-believers. How to learn:Unselfish love vs self-centered nature. Learning to love unselfishly is not an easy task, we are self-centered by nature. (bkitkouunahin?) We have given a lifetime to learn it. God trains us by giving us “family responsibilities” and the foremost of these is to practice living each other. If you want to learn how to cook, you don’t just rely on the recipe book, you have to apply it. Same with unselfish love. To develop a skill of loving, God wants you to be in regular, close fellowship with other believers. You have to be around people-irritating, imperfect, frustrating people. It is only then that we are tested with the imperfections of each other.

More often relationships dictate our behavior for example: because he is your father, you will obey him. Because she is you mother, you will not hurt her. - C. The third reason to make learning to love the goal of your life is that it is what we will be evaluated on in eternity. God is after the quality of our relationships. In heaven God wont say “Tell me about your career, your bank account, and your hobbies.”
