2. Function Of A Camera
• Aperture
• Shutter speed
• Programme
• Manual
• Sensitivity to light
• Metered exposure
3. Aperture
• An opening hole or gap
• When you hit the shutter release button of
your camera a hole opens up that allows your
cameras image sensor to catch a glimpse of
the scene you’re wanting to capture. The
aperture that you set impacts the size of that
hole. The larger the hole the more light that
gets in the smaller the hole the less light.
4. Shutter Speed
• The nominal time for which a shutter is open
at a given setting.
• In photography, shutter speed is the length of
time when the film inside the camera is naked
to light, also when a camera’s shutter is open.
5. Iso
• In Digital Photography ISO measures the
sensitivity of the image sensor.
8. Programme
• A planned series of future events or
performances.
• Most digital cameras support a number of
digital camera modes for use in various
situations.
9. Colour balance
• In photography and image processing, color
balance is the global adjustment of the
intensities of the colors (usually red, green,
and blue primary colors).
10. White balance
• White balance is the process of removing
unrealistic color casts, so that objects which
appear white in person are rendered white in
your photo.
11. Composition
• the nature of something's ingredients or
constituents. So the way in which a whole or
mixture is made up.
12. Rule Of Thirds
• The rule of thirds is applied by aligning a
subject with the guide lines and their
intersection points, placing the horizon on the
top or bottom line, or allowing linear features
in the image to flow from section to section.
13. Analogous colours
• Analogous colors are groups of three colors
that are next to each other on the color
wheel, with one being the dominant color,
which tends to be a primary or secondary
color, and a tertiary.
