2. WHAT DOES THE DAY HOLD
What is the day going to be
like.
(I always like to know my day before
it starts.)
What will it be?
So no matter the
occasion there are always a
few key items that we
should never forget.
These include things like
Shower, Brush Teeth, Put on
Deodorant, Clean your Ears,
Shave, Put on Some Clothes,
Etc.
So I always start my day with the

There is a pointer though that I
live by “no matter what, dress
for success”.
3. So the first thing that I like to start with while getting ready for the day is what I like to call “Me Time”.
That would be the period where I shower, drink a cup of joe, eat some vidils, decide how my day is going to be, and
frankly get my head on straight. This is a must for me for the plain and simple reason that my day directly reflects
how I start it out. The coolest part about this though is that I wake up around 4p.m. and nobody is around to mess it
up for me.
So the next part of me getting ready would be the “Polish & Shine”
Stage. This is basically the point to shave, clean out your ears, brush your grill, put
on deodorant and cologne, and stop looking like I just fell out the bed. This is really
the point where you do all the polish and buff that most people really don’t even
notice (except if you smell). So the point here is to really make sure to be attentive
to the details, cause no one else will tell you if you are coming up a tad bit short.
Now we get to the fun stuff!!!
4. NOW IT’S TIME FOR A GAME OF DRESS UP
• Try Not to be the odd man/women out. (This doesn’t mean fashion
statement out, but don’t where the Pokémon backpack to a business
dinner or the ski mask to a dinner. Try to be an individual and not
just “out there”).
• When deciding what to where always go a little over dressed, apposed
to under dressed.
• Check the weather ladies and gent’s. I know you have a smart phone
and if you don’t your neighbor does. So just take a moment to make
sure that your clothes won’t drown.
• Wash your garb. This does not mean that you have to wash it every
In my opinion, the funnest part of getting ready for the day is
choosing the outfit and accessories. Am I right or am I right.
For most men this is simply pulling out the
first thing you grab from you closet, but you tell
me “how is that dressing for success”. There are so
many rules on do and don’t for style and the funny
part is that by the time you read this, the ones I
wrote will be out of date, so I’m opting out and
going with a few of my basic rules.
