You are likely approached by many people offering LED lighting, but we would like to show you what makes us different.

We employ some of the brightest minds in the SSL industry and we hold over 70 relevant lighting patents. In fact, John Davenport our Company President, spent over 20 years as part of the GE Lighting brain trust, and personally holds the second most patents to Thomas Edison himself ? We have a close relationship with DARPA and the US Navy and received 10’s of millions of dollars in R&D funding, which enables us to produce products that are designed for existing application retrofit and are easily commercialized. Since the govt pays for our development, we can offer the highest performing technology at the lowest cost to our customers
Nearly a decade ago, the US Navy approached US – not Phillips, not GE, and not Sylvannia - to assist them in the development of the next generation of LED lighting. We had many critical design criteria to meet, including energy reduction as the typical cost of energy on a Naval vessel is $0.55/kWh. These new fixtures also had to meet thermal management requirements – Talk to the picture on the left And they needed to meet military vibration standards and military shock standards which included a test that delivers 400 foot-pounds of force to the fixture - and we passed with flying colors. In the end, we wrote the specification that became the US Naval standard for SSL.
We have had our products installed on a number of Naval vessels including nuclear submarines some of the harshest environments in the world for over 5 years without a SINGLE failure. We were commissioned in the past two months to provide retrofit fixtures for an additional (8) ships which plan to complete by mid-year. So here’s how LED lighting can help: Lighting consumes 20-50% of the electricity in commercial buildings. There is NO SINGLE technology available today or in the foreseeable future that has greater promise for reducing energy for lower cost or greater ease of retrofit than LEDs. LEDs can address you customer wants and needs and here are a few examples of how-
LED Fluorescent style lamps are not only viable in retrofit of legacy flu, but there is great promise for the retrofit of HID and Incandescent technologies as well by using a FLU housing as a package to offer one of the lowest DOLLARS/PER LUMEN LED solutions available on the market.
