Emmanuel Ijewere delivered a speech at the inaugural meeting of the Nigerian Agribusiness Group on May 23rd, 2013. In the speech, he discussed the importance of building agribusiness in Nigeria. Ijewere believes in the leadership of the Agriculture Minister, Dr. Adesina, who has brought new thinking around agribusiness and value chains to Nigeria. The country is now driving an agricultural transformation under the Agriculture Transformation Agenda (ATA) led by the private sector. Ijewere called on all private sector players in Nigeria's agriculture to support the ATA and Minister Adesina's initiatives to ensure the success of developing agribusiness in the country.
