behind
a
car’s
windscreen
wipers
is?
The
wipers
will
only
work
when
the
igniDon
and
the
wiper
switches
are
high
simultaneously.
Well,
to
comprehend
its
working
one
needs
to
know
the
concept
of
AND
gates
using
diodes.
A
2-­‐input
AND
gate
has
two
inputs
(A
and
B)
and
only
one
output
(Q).
In
this
project,
you
will
make
an
AND
gate
logic
circuit
using
two
diodes,
two
resistors,
an
LED
and
a
few
connecDng
wires.
Contrary
to
the
OR-­‐gate,
in
this
case
the
p-­‐sides
of
the
two
diodes
are
connected
to
each
other
and
at
the
same
potenDal.
Two
connecDng
wires
are
connected
to
the
n-­‐sides
of
the
diodes.
Each
connecDng
wire
represents
the
input.
This
input
could
be
either
1
or
0,
where
1
stands
for
Vcc
(posiDve/high
voltage)
and
0
stands
for
ground
(negaDve/low
voltage).
To
provide
the
inputs;
the
truth
table
of
the
AND-­‐gate
was
followed.
