1. Song use
Brand issues
In my animation I want to include a popular song. The song is called ‘Hold on were going
home’. This may be hard to legally use an artist may not want the song being used in an
animated production. Also in the production I want the boys to wear branded trainers.
The brand of the trainers will be Nike. The team at Nike may not want us using their
brand, so we will need to contact them first.
Language used
How the characters are
betrayed
Violence in the production
In the animation there will be some adult humour and some bad language that is used by
the teenagers. This may offend young viewers that are viewing the production. Due to the
language used I think the series should have an age rating of 15 on it. Also in the series
there is a dumb character. The character is used to be humorous but the dumb character
may offend people who have a disability. To overcome this we will add some text at the
start of the show to let people know that the character is for entertainment purposes
only. Also in the series there is some low violence. The violence is used because of the
boy’s age. The violence may offend some viewers. But the series will have a rating of 15 to
cover this.
Ethical Issues
Size issues
In the series one of the characters is black. The friend may feel like he stands out in the
group but the colour of his skin doesn’t make him any different. The colour of his skin
may offend some people as he is the only coloured character in the series. Also in the
series there is a character that is larger than the others. The character is big and tall.
But some people may get offended because he could be classed as being fat.
