Kudos:
Christina,
I have truly enjoyed working with you on our team. In addition to bringing great talent, your bubbly, relaxed
can-do attitude toward the work is something that I have greatly appreciated and the team desperately needed at
this time in the project. Keep bringing that Florida vibe to the team :)
- Michele Hazard, former Altarum project lead
Christina,
Wanted to pass on a compliment I heard yesterday. I was talking to Bob and mentioned that I heard the
SharePoint design meetings went well. He said he heard the same and that Tim Ward was excited to see that
you would be involved in the effort. Bob said that Tim really liked the work you did on AOI. I know you've
heard it before, but great work on AOI.
- Jim Laramie, former Altarum project lead and manager
Christina,
This is really far better than I was expecting. I like it. Thanks for being
brave enough to stretch it past the slide count we discussed. really like the right side of the right graphic on
slide 2 (how the % earnings change where it straddles a threshold). This will help articulate it a lot.
- Bob Willis, former client at Navy BUMED.
Christina,
The briefing materials you developed made Troy shine. He was very appreciative. Thanks.
-Max Burke, former Altarum project lead
Promotion Announcement (Internal):
Christina Ciucci was promoted to Senior Analyst in HCA. Christina works remotely from Florida, where she
moved in 2009. Prior to that, she worked in the Ann Arbor office, where she started working for Altarum in
2003. She has a wide array of analytic talents, and specializes in drawing high-level punchlines from detailed
data. In recent years, she has led two projects for our Navy Bureau of Medicine and Surgery (BUMED) clients,
one of which won the 2013 AltE for Service. “Christina has a versatility and positive attitude that has allowed
her to support many projects. Her project leaders and clients have consistently sung high praise of her. One
final report garnered the client assessment of ‘exceptional and superlative.’ I look forward to handing Christina
more project leadership responsibility on future efforts,” said John Hufford, Practice Area Leader for Analytics
and Performance Improvement (API) within HCA.
Evaluation Excerpts:
“Christina was a pleasure to work with and she stepped-in to help where others could not, or would not, to
complete projects important to the client’s end goals. Her intellect, independence, and understanding of project
goals allowed her to really succeed. She is excellent at establishing a rapport with people and can see the big
picture. This allows her to produce work that is of value, making course-corrections and suggestions as needed.”
- Laura Nelson, former Altarum project lead
! Christina C. Ciucci
“I think Christina is a strong asset for Altarum. She has a wide range of skills, is able to figure out ways to
make use of information in ways that are useful for clients and for staff. She is responsive to suggestions to
make her work stronger and has the technical capabilities to execute recommended changes.” - Chris Botsko,
former Altarum project lead
“Christina is a natural at making presentations before an audience, a skill that will serve her and Altarum very
well both now and in the future. Her briefing on structural and funding options before our community coalition
members was lauded by these members and I was most impressed. The graphic montage she developed from
the 2010 San Diego Stand Down, I described as “smoke’n awesome.” - Max Burke, former Altarum project lead
“Data-related problem solving is one of Christina’s strengths and one of the reasons I appreciate having her on
MCFAS. As I’ve noted previously, this is a skill that is difficult to teach, but Christina has a natural feel for and
comfort with it. She has a quick, logical, analytical mind, and organizes tasks well to analyze issues and solve
problems. She is very good at translating large tasks into detailed steps, and is very accomplished at employing
Excel.” - John Hufford, former Altarum manager
“Our ability to collect all of the civilian lab data was due to Christina’s ability to effectively communicate and
work with the civilian lab representatives. Christina had no previous relationships with or awareness of the
civilian labs, yet she developed working relationships and the required level of understanding almost instantly.
She presents herself well and in a professional manner internally and externally.” - Joe Dorris, former Altarum
project lead
“I think it is important to stress Christina’s abilities to integrate her data analytic and presentation skills. I have
seen her put together original graphics conveying information in an interesting way. Yet she is a gifted data
analyst in her own right. I have experienced and heard from others (including those providing input on this
evaluation) that Christina is a very positive addition to any team. Project leaders appreciate her attitude and
willingness to shoulder burdens.” - John Hufford, former Altarum manager
“Christina is enthusiastic, very personable, and very intelligent. She was an important contributor to the project
and did consistently good work.” - Holly Korda, former Altarum project lead
“Christina is always looking to be one step ahead of the client given the work statement, and when creating a
deliverable is always looking to employ creative and clever solutions. Because of this, our Navy BUMED
sponsor requests her involvement.” - Andy Crouter, former Altarum manager and co-worker
“Christina was able to take on full responsibility for planning, analyzing, documenting, and writing up results,
well beyond what was initially expected. Christina is a great teammate who meets or beats deadlines with
products that exceed expectations. She has an easy sense of humor, an excellent ability to plan and execute
work, and shows maturity in problem solving.” - Brad Smith, former Altarum project lead
“Christina is very good at trying to understand the needs of clients and how to shape products so they are most
useful for clients. She has solid technical skills that can be used to create products that are client friendly. She
has developed skills that make her a valuable asset in a changing business environment. She is knowledgeable
about social media, understands the need to develop tools that look professional but also have some degree of
style, and seeks to understand what is really needed to meet a goal and help produce it, even if it goes beyond
Altarum’s typical products.” - Chris Botsko, former Altarum project lead
! Christina C. Ciucci
“Christina’s work on the ACA data dashboard for our OPA client was exceptional. She got extremely high
praise from our client and from our partners also working on the project. The heart of this work was the ability
to make fact-based decisions and to synthesize information into easy-to-read and use tables and graphs.
Christina clearly excels at this task.” - Jennifer Rogers, former Altarum project lead
“Christina does an admirable job of being available and dependable given she works offsite. She performs in a
team environment as well as on her own.” - Andy Crouter, former Altarum co-worker and manager
“Christina did a great job managing the team of diverse players on the AOI project.” - Jim Laramie, former
Altarum manager and project lead
