Purpose: To qualify all 1BSTB Soldiers assigned the M9 pistol.
Key Tasks:
- Preliminary Marksmanship Instruction (PMI) prior to this operation.
- Uphold qualification standards.
- Input scores into DTMS.
Endstate: All unqualified personnel assigned the M9 within 1BSTB are qualified on their
assigned weapon system and are postured to “Fight Tonight.”
1BSTB Mission & Intent
Mission: 1BSTB executes M9 Qualification Range from 270800may14-282200may14 at
Arapacho Range, Rodriguez Live Fire Complex IOT qualify all personnel assigned the M9
pistol.

• All vehicles will be topped off prior to SP

• 1x CLS bags, 1x CLS certified Soldier, 1x FLA, 1x ear protection box (enough for 20 firers) --A Co
CLASS IX:
• 5x cleaning kits---A Co
CLASS X:
• Red Flag, Silhouettes---Range Control
• TMs & FMs, Record Fire Card, Fire Extinguisher x2---A Co
