Attila the Hun is making life tough for a lot of people until he meets the Pope. St. John the Silent doesn't talk. And a monster is causing problems in a hall called Heorot; a man named Beowulf is brought in to deal with the problem.

1. What Happened in 452?
Pope Leo confronts Attila.

2. 452 A.D.
It is 452 A.D.. The world’s population is 190 million. Fifty-two percent of
those humans live in India and China, seventeen percent in the rest of Asia,
seventeen percent in Europe, ten percent in Africa, and the rest of the world
has only four percent; Attila leads the Huns in an invasion of Italy; King
Vortigen marries Rowena and becomes King of the Britons; Saint John the
Silent is born and would become known for living alone for seventy-six years;
Emperor Valentinian III flees from Ravenna to Rome trying to escape Attila’s
invasion. Attila doesn’t sack Milan because the city bribes him with massive
amounts of gold; Wen Cheng Di, only 12 years old, becomes the Emperor of
Northern Wei; Pope Leo I helps convince Attila to not sack Rome and to
withdraw from Italy; the City of Venice is founded by fugitives fleeing Attila’s
army; why else would someone build a city in a swamp?
Some things change; some don’t.

3. King Vortigan marries Rowena and
becomes King of the Britons.
