Responsibility TAU ODC (Tribal Group, UK) 09/2014 – Present
Project Description:
K2 Asset and Facilities Management System is one of the important products
in Tribal. It offers an innovative approach to estate and property management
across a broad range of market settings. It also delivers key facilities and asset
information anytime, on any device and supports flexible ways of working that
enable you to efficiently manage key asset costs and transform facilities.
Responsibility Description:
Scrum is applied to K2 development which lasts 2 weeks per sprint. In this
project, I am responsible not only for testing, but also facilitating the process as
a QA and a Scrum Master. In order to provide better service and
communication to customer, I am in charge of team members’ English
improvement.
QA:
1. Analyzing requirements in PBIs (Product Backlog Item) and relevant Tasks
in the Parking Lot of TFS (Team Foundation System).
2. Working closely with Developers and BA (Business Analysis) to clarify
requirements and estimate Story Points in Planning Meeting before each sprint
starts.
3. Designing the Test Cases in related Task “QA Notes”.
4. Reviewing test cases and executing cases in QA Main environment (Main
Branch) for current sprint.
5. Before each sprint is released, have PBIs demo meetings with Tribal Group
onshore Development Team Lead, QA Lead and PO (Product Owner).
6. Executing regression cases in Prerelease environment (Prerelease Branch).
7. Holding Daily Standup Meetings, attending retrospective Meetings after
each sprint and attending Regression Testing Meetings.
8. Report and Track bugs
Scrum Master:
1. Help the team by facilitating the review/retrospective meetings and next
sprint planning meetings.
2. Organize Daily Standup Meeting in order to monitor project progress, get to
know issues/blockers the team meets and other info the team needs from all
angles.
3. Detects hidden problems/potential risks and strive to solve them
4. Coach and facilitate team Scrum process and attend SOS Meeting daily. In
the SOS meeting: update project status and support the team by getting help
from customer to solving issues and blockers and cooperating with customer
and PO.
5. Send out Team Status Report to client daily: In the report, it contains "Sprint
Burndown Chart", bar chart of "PBI Cumulative Flow" and Risks/Issues. Burn
down chart shows the "Workitem Hours" in Y axis and Remaining Hours,
Linear Reaming Hours. It indicates the status of the sprint project to show
whether is smooth.
