chocolate cake!

4. Ingredients
2 cups sugar
1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
3/4 cup vegetable oil
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
2 1/2 cups all­purpose flour
3 large eggs
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1/2 cup sour cream
Cooking spray

5. Preheat the oven to
350 degrees F. Coat
two 9-inch-round cake
pans with cooking
spray and line the
bottoms with
parchment paper.

6. Take a large bowl,
whisk the cocoa
powder with 1 1/2
boiling water until it
smoothen down.
Keep it aside.

7. Whisk the sugar,
baking powder,
baking soda, flour,
and salt in a
separate bowl until
it mix completely.

8. Add eggs, sour cream,
vanilla, vegetable oil and
beat with a help of a mixer
for about a minute. Pour
the cocoa mixture into the
bowl and continue to blend
it until it gets rubber
spatula...!

9. Divide the batter
between the
prepared pans and
tap the pans against
the counter to help
the batter settle.

10. Bake until a
toothpick inserted
into the middle
comes out clean, 30
to 40 minutes.

11. Transfer to racks and
let cool 10 minutes, then
run a knife around the
edge of the pans and
turn the cakes out
onto the racks to cool
completely.

12. Trim the tops of
the cakes with a
long serrated knife
to make them level,
if desired.

13. Enjoy a piece
of the cake
with a cup of
coffee!
