5. Everyone always thinks they are bigger than they
actually are
6. People confuse their employees for others

1. That scholarly endeavors are worthwhile pursuits for
advancing human thinking and understanding.
2. The scholarly communication is an important piece of the
scholarly endeavors.
3. That good scholarly communication makes for better
scholarship
4. That the scholarly record is the foundation of those
communications
5. That infrastructure can ensure the integrity, completeness,
and usefulness of the scholarly record
