2. PROBLEM- Wastage of food
SOLUTION- Wastage of food can be reduced only if people get to
know the importance of food in their life and the amount of nutrients
and energy they tend to loose because of this wastage. They should
also know the condition of the poor people in the country who starve
for food.
IMPLEMENTATION
1.We visited the mess and observed its condition. We observed the
quantity of leftover food to show to the kids how much of food is
wasted everyday.
2. The kids created banners and organized a skit to create
awareness.
3. We talked to the kids about the problem. We even discussed the
problem with the staff.
3. RESULT-
The quantity of food wasted was compared for two consecutive
days and a remarkable difference was observed.
The kids were enthusiastic and motivated.They went around asking
people not to waste food
