I have been in the hotel industry for almost 27 years. Most notable is the experience
of having been hired by Filarchipelago Hospitality Inc.(FHI) as Corporate Financial
Controller and in simultaneous with this is my appointment as Interim Financial
Controller for Crimson Filinvest City in Alabang. Another achievement that I consider
very valuable to me as Financial Controller is my being part in the set-up of the
Finance Department and the opening of the following hotels- Shangri-La Boracay,
Pico De Loro in Nasugbu, Batangas, Acacia Hotel in Alabang and the soft opening of
City of Dreams Manila.
I consider myself as a team player who can effectively guide and lead staff in the
preparation and timely submission of periodic financial reports and to see to it that
the generally accepted accounting principles, procedures and standards are being
strictly followed. And who I believe, modesty aside, is best in decision making
especially in matters involving the financial interest of the company.
