2. Many people don’t know how God feels about
them.
They are filled with a sense of
worthlessness, aimlessness, guilt, and
condemnation.
3. There was a young man who
grew up in a home where
his mother, a very
domineering
woman, belittled him and
his father. He was
rejected, alienated, and
ostracized at school
because he did not fit in
with the others.
4. Finally, to get away from home and
school, he joined the military where
he faced the same problems of
rejection and isolation. The only thing
he could do was shoot a rifle. He
trained well, but eventually was
dishonorably discharged.
5. On November
22, 1963, this young
man climbed into the
Texas School Book
Depository and shot
the 35th President of
the United
States, John F.
Kennedy.
6. It appears that no one ever told Lee
Harvey Oswald that he was special to
God. He never learned of the great
plans God had for him.
7. This is the hour for you to
know that you are very
special to God.
You are God’s
craftsmanship, His special
work. During creation, God
said of everything He
created, “It is good.” But
when He created man, male
and female, He said of
everything He made, “It is
very good.”
8. Some people’s potential has
been locked up because
they don’t value themselves
properly. God’s view of us is
not based on external traits
or abilities. He simply
values everybody as special.
