I have been described as an "amphibian" in that I have education, professional experience and licensure as both structural engineer and architect and thus move between these two domains. For the past 17 years I have developed and taught courses in building structures geared for architectural students. I have taught at Virginia Tech, Philadelphia University, the University of Maryland and currently at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.
