  15. 15. • Effective water management benefits from a shared understanding among stakeholders of the functioning of the water system and how this is influenced by future developments and measures • Model results and data contribute to this understanding and are not always easily understood • Dashboards help to visualize and communicate this information, and support discussions and decisions • Early (inception phase) dashboard design based on identification of outcomes of interests, external factors and possible measures helps to structure information needs • The dashboard is not (only) an end result but a support tool throughout a discussion/decision process, that evolves over time • Open data and models based on open data can serve to quickly fill the dashboard early in the process, but important to remain critical and test multiple data sources. Information can be further refined in later stages • Dashboad will always be tailor-made. BlueEarth Co-creation offers a structured approach for stakeholder involvement and tools that can easily be adjusted to fit these needs Messages – BlueEarth Co-creation 17 BlueEarthCo-creation:Water,PeaceandSecurity
