THE ISSUE
The Belgian branch of TUV Austria was
facing a growing challenge. They needed
NDT operators, professionals specialised
in Non-Destructive Testing, to fill crucial
roles at sites in Brecht and Kontich. TUV
Austria was having a tough time finding
suitable candidates, which is why they
enlisted the help of CaptainWork.
Our collaboration began on 10/08/23
and led to the signing of two contract
proposals on 28/09/2023. That's a total
contract duration of only seven weeks.
TUV Austria Belgium noted that the
evaluation of candidates can only take
place after their induction period, which
is about six months. Although they have
a lot of confidence in our expertise.

The main task was to find suitable NDT operators for the Brecht (bunker)
and Kontich (on-track) sites.
OUR ASSIGNMENT
Our SIGN packages are chosen when the need is high. You want the right people in the
right position quickly, without compromising on quality. And that was no different at
TUV Austria Belgium. To accomplish this, SIGN takes care of the entire process, from
the intake to the signing of an employment contract.
We started with an in-depth intake meeting with TUV Austria Belgium stakeholders to
understand the intricacies of the workplaces and the qualifications required. This was
no cookie-cutter approach; but a partnership in the making.
Then our in-house content team got to
work. CaptainWork created a job vacancy
video and text that not only attracted
attention but also highlighted the true
essence of the position, giving the viewer
a clear and complete picture of the job.
This personalises the position and makes
it tangible.
CaptainWork used this content to launch
an ad campaign. The digital team
designed a campaign that was thought
through to the last detail, including
location, studies, age and experience in
the specific field. But they took it even
further by doing some 'headhunting' on
LinkedIn and searching through their own
database to find the right people.

The candidate stream generated from this was then handed over to CaptainWork's SIGN
team, where it was meticulously screened and evaluated. From progressive profiling to
personality tests and specific documents required for NDT operators, CaptainWork set
the bar high.

FOR CANDIDATE MATHS TEST
After a candidate passed the screening, their CV, the required documents and a
detailed SIGN report were submitted to TUV Austria Belgium. CaptainWork was also on
hand to schedule the job interviews and guide the process along the way, which built a
bond of trust that proved to be of great value.
BEHIND THE SCENES, THE AD CAMPAIGN RAN
LIKE A WELL-OILED MACHINE, WITH A
REMARKABLY HIGH QUANTITY TO QUALITY
RATIO. IT WAS A SUCCESS STORY IN EVERY
SENSE OF THE WORD.
The hard work and dedication paid off. Of the 29 candidates assessed, five were
presented to TUV Austria Belgium. And not just presented; all five were invited to job
interviews. Although the first candidate eventually dropped out for personal reasons,
the two subsequent candidates, Steven Visser and Giovanni Daemen, braced
themselves to join the TUV family.

CaptainWork operates a fair and transparent
cost structure. There are start-up costs that
include things such as the intake interview,
copywriting, video shooting and editing, and
advertising costs to promote the video and text
through various channels.
Customer satisfaction is crucial. That’s why the
success fee is paid in three installments, when
the contract is signed, at the beginning of the
second working month and at the beginning of
the third working month. This protects the
client's interests and ensures a lasting
partnership.
