Background info. There are 5 military branches that people could join. Army,Navy,Marines,Coa st Guard, and Air Force.
My thesis statement • Even though soldiers risk their lives, soldiers join the military because they want peace or they want to keep people safe from terrorist.
For peace . One reason soldiers join the military is because they just want peace.
Peace, detail 1 • The people who join the military because they are trying to gain peace for their country really try to survive and win because they have an incentive.
Peace, detail 2 • Even though it’s ironic to join the military to get peace it works if we win because there will be no more wars and therefore there will be peace

Getting rid of terrorist • The reason soldiers join the military is because they want to protect our country from terrorist attacks and it keeps the people safe from terrorist attacks as well.
Terrorist, detail 1 • Actually soldiers who join the army because of terrorist it is because they are probably racist against them or had a traumatic event because of terrorist.
Terrorist, detail 2 • Other people would just join because they see that our country needs help fending off these terrorist.

Conclusion • There many more reasons why soldiers would join the army some would do it for the fun of it or because they are seeking respect from their families, friends or their community.
