This is the deck used to facilitate our first co-design collaboration following the public launch of 1000 Landscapes for 1 Billion People, during Climate Week in New York City. We presented the initiative, it's Big Hairy Audacious Goal, and its proposed structure and timeline. Then we asked some key questions that will help shape co-design processes and frames during the following 6-9 month intensive design period. Perhaps you'd like to answer those questions too? Comment with your thoughts!

6. Challenge
Landscape partnerships struggle to organize
and coordinate investable projects and sustain
long-term processes that regenerate their
ecosystems and economies.
7. 3 systemic barriers
1. Expertise to facilitate landscape-scale partnerships is
scarce, costly and difficult to access
2. Local stakeholders’ vision and priorities are undermined
by top-down development strategies
3. Landscape partnerships are unable to mobilize
investment at scale
8. 3 interlocking
solutions to create
new systems for
success
1.Digital Landscape Action
Platform
2.Financial innovations
3.Networked support systems
centering landscape initiatives
11. GOAL
1000 landscapes use our system to unlock
regeneration by 2030, benefitting 1 billion
people by transforming economies and
ecosystems.
12. Strategy for scaling
