Presentazione Mindfulness

  1. 1. Cos’è la mindfulness? Uno stato mentale che ha a che fare con particolari qualità dell’attenzione e della consapevolezza che possono essere sviluppate attraverso la meditazione.
  2. 2. <ul><li>E’ la consapevolezza che emerge attraverso il prestare attenzione allo svolgersi dell’esperienza momento per momento: </li></ul><ul><li>con intenzione </li></ul><ul><li>nel presente </li></ul><ul><li>in modo non giudicante </li></ul>
  3. 3. L’approccio della mindfulness si fonda sull’esperienza personale, sulla “pratica” continuativa. La meditazione della mindfulness comprende una gamma di tecniche e di approcci originari di ogni tradizione.
  4. 4. <ul><li>La mindfulness non è: </li></ul><ul><li>una condizione di trance </li></ul><ul><li>una condizione mistica </li></ul><ul><li>una condizione di rilassamento </li></ul><ul><li>E’ l’opposto di tutto questo. </li></ul><ul><li>Il suo scopo è divenire attenti e presenti a ciò che la propria mente sta vivendo. </li></ul>
  5. 5. La meditazione di mindfulness non coincide con la messa in atto di una serie di regole, tecniche definite. Significa aprirsi all’intera sconosciuta ampiezza dell’ essere presenti alla nostra esperienza, ora.
  6. 6. <ul><li>Mindfulness e psicoterapia: </li></ul><ul><li>Confronto fra terapia cognitiva e mindfulness </li></ul><ul><li>Caratteristiche essenziali della terapia cognitiva: </li></ul><ul><li>il terapeuta cerca di produrre una modificazione cognitiva nel paziente per causare una modificazione durevole a livello emozionale e comportamentale </li></ul><ul><li>Il terapeuta cerca in particolare di modificare il processo di significazione del paziente ovvero la sua modalità di attribuire senso a eventi, cose, persone. </li></ul>
  7. 7. <ul><li>Caratteristiche della mindfulness: </li></ul><ul><li>Passaggio dalla modalità del “fare” alla modalità “essere”. Nella modalità “fare” la mente è costantemente attivata con la finalità di rilevare le discrepanze tra le rappresentazioni di stato-obiettivo: come le cose sono e come dovrebbero essere. La modalità “essere”è il rimanere semplicemente presenti a ciò che c’è così com’è, al qui e ora. </li></ul><ul><li>La mindfulness è un’esperienza non concettuale e non linguistica. E’ una forma di conoscenza profonda, di visione (vipassana=visione profonda) non veicolata da significati. </li></ul>
