Closed Worlds Exhibit, Storefront for Art and Architecture
Working with Professor Lydia Kallipoliti (of EcoRedux) and the teams from the Storefront for Art and
Architecture and from Pentagram on research for exhibit content, editing content, creating the website
(http://www.closedworlds.net), archiving, and installation of the exhibition at the Storefront in New York City.
Reformatting and editing the exhibition to exist in a book format and for the website. Preparing the exhibition
to move from the Storefront in April to the Venice Biennial in May.
Guinea Pig Circus, Istanbul Biennial
Working with Professor Lydia Kallipoliti to develop content and research for the biennial exhibit, editing and
organizing content, designing the exhibit and prototyping the elements of the design that must be shipped to
the site.
I just achieved my Master of
Architecture at Rensselaer Polytechnic
Institute and am working full time at
Mosaic Associates Architects in Troy,
NY. My thesis dealt with the drought
and housing crisis in the California
San Francisco Bay Area. I am working
with Lydia Kallipoliti on the book of
her exhibit, Closed Worlds, for The
Storefront for Art and Architecture,
and on her exhibit at the Istanbul
biennial. I recently spent a month in
Italy with Garfagnana Innovazione
at the 2015 Digital Stone Project,
creating a marble sculpture with a 7
axis robotic CNC mill and finishing it
by hand.

Digital Stone Project/Garfagnana Innovazione
Student Participant and Autodesk Scholarship Recipient June - July 2016
Participated in a month long international workshop in collaboration with the Digital Stone Project at the
invitation of Garfagnana Innovazione - home of one of the worlds largest seven axis milling robots for
stone and marble at the site of one of Italy’s most important modern quarries. Developed a digital file in
collaboration with fellow RPI student, Chendru Starkloff, and subsequently working on site in Tuscany for one
month with the technicians of Garfagnana Innovazione on custom CNC techniques and finishing processes
which culminated in the conference and exhibition ‘Marble Codes’ in July 2015 at the Villa Strozzi Garden in
Florence Italy.

Assisted PhD students at RPI’s Case program in New York City with prototyping, testing, analyzing, and
communicating about the materials and systems they are developing. Working closely with Mae-ling Lokko
