To Whom It May Concern: Dec. 7, 2011
I am writing this letter as a reference for Emily Apple in her job search.
Emily has been working with us in Holland Public Schools as a long term substitute in our
Special Education office and in the office of our Early Childhood Center. Her position requires a
number of skills: technology, office tasks, phone and receptionist, dealing with young students
and their families.
Emily has done her jobs here very well. She is proficient with technology and the various
educational programs she must deal with. She has done trainings with special education staff
on Medicaid billing, teaching them a new program. She performed this very well.
Emily is energetic and enthusiastic; and has shown a good work ethic with us. She has not been
absent during her months with us. She communicates well with other staff. She has been
willing to do a lot of training so as to best perform her various job requirements.
Please call me if you have any further questions. My phone number at the Early Childhood
Center is 616-494-2650; and my cell number is 616-836-5563.
Sincerely,
Ellen Westveer, Director, Holland Public Schools Early Childhood Center
