3. The idea is straightforward: podcasts are
simple, and virtual reality can bring them
to life.
A start-up called Podrift has combined the
two, using Facebook’s Oculus Rift’s virtual
reality platform to deliver podcasts. The
future could be watching a digital version
of a comedian, delivering a podcast from
the real world comedian!

4. Duolingo is offering to teach new languages for free. It claims an
independent study proved that 34 hours of Duolingo learning is
the equivalent to 11 weeks of university.
The method Duolingo uses is to try and find the most successful
methods in teaching a new language. If one method works, it uses
that method to other students. The course keeps evolving using
multivariate testing and gamification. It’s just like university,
with less beer.

open doors, the Starwood Hotel Group has
started using Bluetooth door locks. Using a
smartphone app, guests can walk past the
check-in desk, directly to a designated
hotel room, and use their smartphone to
open the door.

11. 5G promises to overcome the critical
limitations of previous generation networks
such as concentrate crowded areas, built
up urban areas, security and stability, all
combined with up to 4 Gbps data rates and
billions of connected devices.
Japan is aiming to roll out the first 5G
network for the 2020 Olympic Games.

12. Honda presents... Honda have created two videos, with
different stories and can be swapped
seamlessly at any moment by pressing
the R key.
The R is used because the videos promote
