This paper will draw attention to the very idea of invented Africa, and the process of the invention with the hope that by understanding that process we may look into the possibilities of de-inventing invented Africa. Through this, the paper examines how the continent can rise to the socio-economic world based on its cultural and historical context and content, the paper also explores the process of rediscovering the self-autonomy of the Africans from the European imperialism this is to make my “audience especially those who have not appreciated the magnitude of the crisis faced by communities of color as a result of mass incarceration,” to appreciate themselves. Hoping that this will permit you to express the power of your thought more liberally with the freedom to articulate the truth in brashness without showing any sense of disapproval. The chief purpose of this paper is to give Africans and any other person who is engaged in African studies the equipment for understanding the African experiences and his or her human situations in Africa furthermore, the paper critique the claim that Africa had to wait for the coming of Europeans for their social change or development to take place as an erroneous hypothesis of European social constructs. The paper tries to moderate this premise by arguing that Africans are not just passive victims of westernization. Africans are urged in this paper to wake up and rise to their rightful place in the global order. The writer used and analyzed pieces of evidence found in relevant African pieces of literature within the African context to bring to understanding the history and causes of the unfortunate perpetual decelerating underdevelopment of the African continent despite her enormous wealth.

This paper sets out to discuss the question of African identity from the position related to Nkrumah’s Pan Africanism. This work demonstrates that the question of African identity is challenged by the diversity of cultural heritages that incarnate the African continent and its peoples. It also shows that the invasions by foreign cultures impede the delimitation of an identity called African, and that the re education of the African is instrumental in reinventing an African identity capable of competing with other cultures in the global space . Tanyi, Pamela Nugha | Nde, Paul Ade "A Critical Appraisal of Kwame Nkrumah’s Pan Africanism and the Appropriation of African Identity" Published in International Journal of Trend in Scientific Research and Development (ijtsrd), ISSN: 2456-6470, Volume-6 | Issue-1 , December 2021, URL: https://www.ijtsrd.com/papers/ijtsrd49130.pdf Paper URL: https://www.ijtsrd.com/humanities-and-the-arts/social-science/49130/a-critical-appraisal-of-kwame-nkrumah’s-pan-africanism-and-the-appropriation-of-african-identity/tanyi-pamela-nugha

Progress in the domain of science and technology during this current age of globalisation highlights the need for state governments to form continental and regional blocs with shared interests and governance having the ultimate aim of striking strong economic, social and political bargains, which are crucial developmental signposts. In this new twist, state governments and markets systems even of former rivalling states are systematically being supressed in favour of agglomerations where single state authorities do play very minimal functions. The EU, Schengen and EEC emerged and operated in the likeness of this contention. Curiously, most African people or elite are still either caught up in the dream of state creation through some sorts of very scary attempts to correct the past. In these brackets, they are entangled in a web of self-imposed guilt that displays itself in enormous complexes. The ability of African History or historians of African descent to remind the African people of their ugly past accentuated by their growing willingness to be trapped by it; makes it crucially expedient to question the relevance of history to the African peoples. In a dispensation of peace building and call by professional historians for peoples of all races not only to know but rethink and write their past placing supreme interest on human development and cohesion, need arises to know whether history is really a divisive element/weapon of destruction (Sword) or an ornament of peace in African social and academic dialectics. Using broad and specific evidences from primary and secondary sources, this paper analyses and repositions the usefulness of History to Africans in this current dispensation. It offers an argument which is valid for all societies that History can either be a sword on an olive branch depending on the willingness of the people therein to reconcile the past from the present and to judge and sentence the human past with the context of that era in mind. It further proffers that African present stagnation in the realm of development is to very large extent intricately connected to the fact that they have decided to be trapped in their past rather than using it as a springboard.

Case Development: Choose the role of Prosecutor of Defense Attorney. You are charged with preparing two witnesses. You must chronicle what is needed to determine what relevant testimony the witness can provide, whether the witness fits the generally accepted requirements to be a witness and whether this individual has any defects that need attention. Make a list of all things related to each witness that you think are necessary to prepare the witness for testimony. Cite your work based on the chapters you have read and any information researched related to witness preparation. Journal of Social Development in Africa (2000), 15. 1,61-78 Ethnic Conflict and Democracy in Nigeria: The Marginalisation Question EDL YNE E ANUGWOM* ABSTRACT This paper examines the issue of ethnic conl1icts and thcir implications for democracy in Nigeria. Ethnic conflict and distrust is identified as the bane of former democratic experiments in Nigeria. Moreover, since the late 1980s, ethnicity in Nigeria has assumed disturbing new dimensions. The most crucial of these arc the issues of marginalisation and agitations by ethnic minorities. Marginalisation breeds suspicion, distrust, heightens ethnic tensions and may eventually lead to conl1ict over the sharing and allocation of power and national resources. Democratic tradition, which is imperative lor development, cannot blossom in the context of ethnic conflict. Thus, marginalisation, whether apparent or real, has the potential for disrupting the drive towards democracy. With cries for marginalisation so rife among ethnic groups, a need arises to address the issue squarely. This is particularly important given that Nigeria is presently engaged in another attempt at democracy. Ethnic conflicts in whatever form need to be resolved in order to allow for democracy to thrive. This paper examines ways in which ethnic problems in Nigeria may be resolved through the creation of a realistic and workable federalism modelled largely on the American model. Introduction Ethnic conflict has been rightly defined as one of the greatest obstacles to meaningful development in Africa (see The Courier 1993). In Nigeria, this sort of competition and rivalry among various ethnic groups is seen as a product of colonial contact. The ethnic factor, however, did not diminish with the advent of independence; rather, it bccame a yardstick for measuring contribution to the national development effort and especially for allocating and distributing power and national resources. As Nigeria is c urrentl y engaged in another exercise aimed at establishing a sustainable form of democracy, there is urgent need to address *Lccturer, Department .

African politics in its historical and contemporary dimensions has kept African scholars busy. They have created narratives, conceptual and theoretical constructions, deconstructions and reconstructions, ideological debates, and intellectual projections and advocacy that are vast and sometimes overwhelming. Africa has to move from lineage and ethnic politics and allow democracy to lead for the development and growth of Africa.

BuddyPress, the social network based on WordPress, is becoming more and more common in academic environments where it is used for organization, communication and learning. In this discussion we will go beyond the practical and into the human side of things to consider what effects social software might be having in the world of academia. Can we use our tools to get people to think differently? Does the use of open tools help bring openness to the context where they are used? Are BuddyPress and WordPress the best tools for the job? This talk will take the form of a guided discussion including the entire audience.

And it indicates that the discount is applied to every item in the order, regardless of how much each item costs separately. This slide will show how to manage global discounts in odoo 17 POS.

While single melodic lines are simpler and more straightforward, they still allow for creativity and emotional expression. Meanwhile, the simultaneous occurrence of multiple melodic lines can create a more intricate and complex musical structure that challenges the listener's ear and engages their attention.
