In this Social Engagement Benchmark Report, we analyzed data from more than 3 million Twitter messages to present today’s most complete portrait of Twitter messaging performance.
Among the key findings:
- Twitter engagement is highest on Sundays—the day with the fewest brand tweets.
- Twitter users gravitate towards photo-inclusive tweets. Brands tweet photos only 8% of the time, although consumers are more than twice as likely to retweet a photo tweet.
- In 2013, companies saw an average 43% increase in Twitter followers.
We also segmented Twitter data by industry so you can compare your success metrics with companies most like yours. Ready to see how you measure up?
