THE CONTACT MODALITIES The Dr. Edgar Mitchell Foundation for Research into Extraterrestrial Encounters (FREE), is an academic research foundation comprised of Ph.D. physicists, neuroscientists, physiologists and lay researchers that is investigating “What is Consciousness”, what is the true nature of our reality. Our primary research focuses on individuals that have had contact with Non Human Intelligence (NHI). We believe that the Quantum Hologram Theory of Consciousness (QHTC), which explains the nature of our reality and non-ordinary states of consciousness, may provide the foundation for understanding the interrelationship between the various “Contact Modalities” (e.g., UFOs, NDEs, OBEs, telepathic communication, channeling, remote viewing, orb sightings, etc.) within a multidimensional reality. FREE was co-founded by Apollo 14 Astronaut Dr. Edgar Mitchell, Harvard Astrophysicist Dr. Rudy Schild, Australian researcher Mary Rodwell, and Attorney/Experiencer Rey Hernandez.
