In 2008, Fingrid launched a project, the aim of which was to build a new information system that supported asset and operation management and was based on product-based solutions. This new data system that supports asset and operation management goes by the name of ELVIS (an acronym for ELectricity Verkko Information System).

- 6. Power Transformer health index • Based on Dissolved Gas Analysis (DGA) + oil quality, tan δ, oil temperature • DGA finger prints and a fault library are very useful in defect investigations
- 7. Transformer fault - Nurmijärvi PM1 Increasing oil gas ratio was noticed and taken under observation in May 2012. Strong correlation between Low Voltage side current and oil gas ratio was detected by Condition Monitoring System and confirmed with diagnostics measurements. The early notice gave time to react and remedial actions were launched in time.
- 9. SF6 leaks - saving both nature and money • Several Circuit Breaker SF6 gas leaks and detector failures has been detected at early stage by monitoring and automatic notifications.

- The tool is an on-line tool, so all data used is coming from Maximo. If some assets are replaced is is automatically updated. if some eguipment have some faults they are The asset health index is calculated very time you run the report
