To navigate today’s dynamic global economy, organisations have invested heavily in trying to digitise their services to empower users, increase profits and engage customers. Despite the opportunities that Digital initiatives offer, the first wave of programmes have failed to deliver on much of what was promised. The challenge is one of disconnection. In keeping pace with the provision of front-end digital services, organisations have, through ineffective integration strategies, often failed to extract true value from existing legacy systems and processes. As a result, organisations remain frustrated that transformation initiatives have failed to deliver on expected outcomes. This session explores strategies that organisations can adopt to address the Digital Disconnect, and deliver real and sustained value from fully enabled digital services.
