There have been tremendous advancements worldwide in Science and Engineering related to ICT, since the first Nobel Prize was awarded in 1901. Celebrating its 80th anniversary this year, Fujitsu as well has contributed significant milestones in ICT on a global scale to a multitude of industries and society during this period. Recently, as we see the limits of Moore’s Law approaching, there is demand for new ICT breakthroughs. This session highlights latest R&D challenges that Fujitsu Laboratories is engaged in to pioneer new frontiers with a particular focus in the 5 technology domains of Computer Architecture, Network Architecture, Cognitive Computing, Social Science, and Physical & Chemical Devices.
