Creating tools for designers
and trends in the modern
creative industry
Lecture from Murat Mutlu,
the co-founder
Marvel is a fast-growing online tool which allows
designers to create prototypes of mobile applications
and web projects.
Marvel began as just a small startup that helped
product designers to link several screens into one
prototype. Last year they’ve received a big chunk of
investment and since then their growth has rocketed.
Murat Mutlu has a strong vision and tons of energy, that
gets everyone in the room immediately inspired.
He will talk about all the steps Marvel went through to
get to where they are now, from the initial idea to the
launch of their first version of the product, how they
got investment and how the market changed since
they started.

Branding and interfaces
Lecture from the design team
One of the most exciting British design studios, most
famous for the rebranding of Airbnb, British Premier
League, Logitech and many others.
Usually branding is seen as part of marketing and
advertising strategy and not that many companies can
smoothly translate brands into the digital world. But
Design Studio are masters of digital branding language
and proved it many times with the successes of Airbnb
and Asana. Their design team will talk in more detail
about the work that went into each project and what is
the main secret of nailing an interface design.
Among their other clients are Nokia, Logitech, Asana,
Shyp, OpenTable, Head, Glyph and others.

Design systems

Styleguide and pattern libraries are a classical solution
for product development strategy. But this static
approach loses a lot of important details during each
step of the design process.
Alla will talk about how using design frameworks and
living styleguide can maintain quality of each individual
product and help teams to simplify
the design process.
