My name is Lee-Roy Jacobs & I met Gert Oberholster in 2012 – I was on a Learnership
through the Bidvest Academy, we were doing Production Technology. I immediately made a
Strong Connection with Gert, when we started the Section on Kaizen. It’s like the Philosophy
just started flowing through my veins. I live by Kaizen now.
Kaizen is the Japanese Philosophy for Success. (Kai – means change) & (Zen – means For
the Better.) Gert has Great Ability to speak well & hold the attention of an audience, for a
prolonged period of time. He is fluent in Afrikaans, Zulu & English. Gert is very
knowledgeable when it comes to the subject matter. He is a kaizen specialist.
Because of Gert I was Motivated to do a Project on the 12 Wastes in Our Company, whereas
the other learners only handed in a Project for One Waste. Gert could actually be a
Motivational Speaker in my opinion as well. He made me feel so enthralled while I was
doing my Project, that I even did it during my December Holidays of 2012.
I will never forget the Influence this man has had in my life, we are now very good friends &
I always lean on his Understanding, so too does he lean on mine. I would definitely
recommend him to take charge of any Learnership or kaizen project that your company may
require. I could actually write a book about Gert & his Abilities, however this serves as a
Good Recommendation for Gert.
