for copies is 5 cents per page
and they accept coins and $1

10. Assistive Technology Rooms
In the Assistive Technology
rooms, students can use a
Kurzweil Optical Scanner for
rendering printed text to oral
reproduction, other character
recognition and learning
disability software as well as
a braille printer.

The library homepage is your access point for scholarly, reliable sources for your
classwork. Goddard Library has purchased both print and electronic books and journals,
along with many other exciting resources such as streaming videos and music.
13. One the left side of the library homepage is a listing of “Services”.
From these drop down menus you can check library hours, reserve a
group study room, and even link to D2L.
14. Check out the “Research Assistance –Research Guides” area of the website. Here you
will find mini subject guides for a variety of topics. Click to select a subject for a listing
of specific resources. A page of resources suitable for your subject will appear. It will
include article databases, print and electronic books, reference sources, and citation
help -- all in one place.
15. Search the Library catalog for print and electronic materials such as: books, journals, videos
images, music and more!
16. Search the “Videos” and “Newspapers” tabs to access the library’s video and
newspaper database collections.
17. Find journals, magazines and some news articles by clicking on the “Find Articles &
More” link at the top of the library homepage screen.
18. The article databases provide specialized
articles in the subject fields of Nursing,
Business, Science, Literature and even
Automotive Repair. You can also find art
images, streaming music and streaming
video.
To access, click on the database title you
wish to search. If off-campus, you will be
asked to authenticate as a student with
your starID or studentID and password.
